I fail at chair building. We've bought the nephew and niece a chair each. They're cute, small, teddy bear decorated with their names on the top. Sadly they're also self-assembly. There's 12 screws and you'd think it would be easy. It so isn't. I have half a chair done and I've had to leave it before I chucked the thing out the widow.

It was James' birthday on Friday so we've had a totally indulgent weekend. Which was one plus to not getting away, spending the time with him. Lets see, we went bowling with the best friend on Friday, I actually played this time and it was fun. Though how James managed to get a gutter ball when the gutter bumpers were up I'll never know. We've seen four movies at the cinema. Happy Feet is amazing! I had joy watching it, seriously. It's scary and fun and touching all mixed together with a penguin cute overload. We've decorated our and my mam's house, and now I'm surrounded by Christmas stuff and lights which always provokes a smile. Also, bits of wood and screws but lets not go there. We spend yesterday morning watching Corey play rugby in a howling gale and rain. Then the afternoon out with friends followed by a Chinese take away at her house. Really, it wasn't a bad weekend at all.

Now I have a load of online stuff to catch up on. Not yet though. I did part of the big freezer shop earlier and the delivery has just arrived. Somehow I need to fit it all into my freezers.

Hee! Happy Feet was so awesome. My niece still goes into a tapping frenzy, a week later, if you look at her and just tap one foot on the floor, like tap-tap-tap. Ahahaha!

Also, if you have young relatives who might be interested, I hear the website has instructions for some of the dance steps.

It sounds like you guys had a most awesome weekend. YAY!

I can't wait to see Happy Feet. We're saving it until the boys go on holiday from school.

We had a lovely weekend. You can always tell it's been a good one when I don't make time to get online.

Happy Feet is awesome! I'm sure you'll love it.

Might I say...those chair sounds muy awesometasco! (yes, that is totally correct spanish for awesome...)Things like that are always the hardest to put together though...They fool you! And then you want to crunch them into tiny pieces. (I spent four years in a garden shop assembling bird baths...*Snarls at them*)

building a kit, hey? It never fails to make me laugh whenever a standup comedian decides to make fun of Ikea (sometimes I think that people who make up those things are going to rot in hell for all eternity and then some) lol
