My shoulders are all kinds of scrunched up. The right one in particular is aching like crazy, especially where it meets my neck. This is what happens when you sit writing for hours on end. If I sue the popslash fandom do you think I'd be awarded Chris as compensation? No? Oh well, it was worth a try.

It was storming like crazy yesterday, taking Corey to karate we were nearly blown into the road, which was both scary and cool at the same time, because man, that wind had power behind it. Sadly, it must have taken BT's lines down or something because my net was off for hours. Which in a way didn't matter as I've had my browser off while writing, but still, I like to have no access on my own terms you know?

I got two lovely cards today. One from [livejournal.com profile] yami_tai and a fabulous trickc card from [livejournal.com profile] musiclover03 which contained pics. Awesome pictures. Sims trickc and my favourite trickc and Chris pictures ever! And if you don't know what they are. Shame on you! Thank you both so much. *mwah*

I actually sent my own cards today. I was informed by the counter person that I'd missed the last posting dates for everywhere but the UK. Which I knew anyway, because I suck with things like that. However, they should arrive between Christmas and new year, and it's the thought that counts right?

Mam gave me £55 yesterday and told me to buy myself books with it. I have glee, seriously. I love buying books but sadly just don't have enough money to do it often. Every year I tell my family that I'd be happy with books for Christmas, but I never get them because only Corey and I actually read in my immediate family. In all the time I've known him, James has never read a book, which is kind of sad I think. But, this year he's getting me the Dresden Files I still need , plus the new Merry Gentry, and now I have this money from mam. I'm going to be in book heaven. I'm not going to use it all on books though, a trip to Lush will happen too, because there's nothing better than soaking in the bath with a good book and a wonderful smelling bathbomb, especially one that glitters!

Talking of which. That's where I'm going now, get the kinks out of my shoulders.

Oh man, James needs to take something for his work's secret santa. He's already bought something but was asking if we had anything else. I keep trying to sell him on the idea of the wodka in our cupboard. It hasn't even been opened, I'm sure she'll love it. Plus, it'll get rid of it, I've never fancied trying something called wodka *g*

You're better at the cards than I am. I didn't even send any this year.

And yay for books! I love reading too, but don't usually have time to sit and pick up a good book. If I do have time, it's usually spent writing, which I hate because I like and believe what Stephen King said "If you don't have time to read, you don't have time to write" meaning you should educate yourself with different authors, styles, etc before writing your own piece....but anywho... Books that you get to buy for yourself using present money may actually be the best gifts in the world.

Good luck with the unscrunching - if I had much much much longer arms I'd offer a massage, but Mr Tickle I am not. Mind you if you get Chris as a prize it'd be worth it (though I have no idea what he'd be like as a masseuse and anything else would just get me more... um... tense *g*)

IM glad you liked and that it got there in good time. The clear plastic thingy is a window cling. YOu can put it on your window or mirror. LOL I probably should have put instructions with it. The guys are so hot its not a wonder they didnt melt the plastic.

MERRY TRICKCMAS!

Buying books is the best! Just browsing, reading the backs, feeling the pages, knowing there's all those words just waiting to be read.

Problem is, as James isn't a reader he gets all impatient in book shops, and totally doesn't get that you need hours to just look.

My cards have been sitting on my desk for ages. I'm just glad the things are winging their way around the world now.

With school and everything I imagine it would be difficult to find time to get lost in a book. I believe what Stephen King is saying too, but at the same time, you have to balance that against actually going out and getting writing practice, which is what you're doing.

They really are. There tends to be guilt when I buy them usually, because I'm aware of the bills that need paying. But if I have to buy them. That's different.

Dude! You'd have to arms of an amazing Mr Tickle kind to help unscrunch! *g*

I like to think Chris would have good massaging hands. I think they'd fit on my shoulders nicely. Okay, even thinking about it makes me want to flail, so maybe it wouldn't be that relaxing after all ;)

They're awesome! I worked out it was a window cling, after staring for a while *g*

But Jilly, they're amazing! The card too, and you're just lovely to have taken that trouble. Thank you! *smooch*

I hope your shoulders are better today! And if they're not you should definitely get a massage by Chris as a compensation from the fandom :-)

*gives you a massage*

man, the last couple of times I've bought books, it's been for school. that's kind of sad, actually.

Yeah. Cos I don't think I'd find being around Chris... relaxing precisely.

I think the best plan in that case is to send him off to whatever shop HE can browse in for hours... preferably one that bores you entirely ;)

I love buying books! Old, new, adults', children's, anything. And I always check our library's old books shelf and buy the ones I remember. As long as they still have all the pages, that is. :)
