It was Corey's carol concert today. I went with my nanna, and as we were walking to the church she asked how old I was going to be next year. So I told her, at which point she said she hadn't been able to remember exactly, just knew I was getting on. Getting on....sigh.

But, Corey's finished school for the term now, and James finishes work today, so that's good. I submitted my sesa at half past midnight last night, after a minor panic when it came complete with weird symbols included. ( which shouldn't have happened as I had smart quotes turned off ). But, I got that sorted, and now it's posted. It even has a title, sadly I decided Fuelled by Coffee Alone wouldn't cut it, despite that being oh so true. What I want to know, is it only me that has the nightmare that they go to post the thing and realise you're written totally the wrong pairing? Like, did Brian/JC when they wanted Nick/Howie.

The pantomime was good last night. Though I never realised Daisy the cow was in Red Riding Hood, but it seems she is. Tonight we're doing the main grocery shop, all I hope is it's quieter with going so late. While I'm there I need to pick up a gift for my brother. For the last few years he hasn't bought me anything, just buying for Corey. Which is fine, so this year I didn't get him anything, just bought for my niece. So of course he's gone out and got me a gift.

Thank you so much for the cards, Raven, Bayou and Eva. *mwah* Also, KC, your card came. It's obvious that you're my favourite story-reading-Lance-discussing friend. Happy Anniversary! *smooch* Also also. I got a parcel from [livejournal.com profile] interlock with much stuff that I adore, and a new lamp! A battery powered glittery one that makes a fine addition to the collection. He even looks like Lamp! *glee* Thank you!

Last thing. Corey told me yesterday it was 5 days to new Doctor Who, not Christmas. I so love having a mini fanboy around.

Yep. I think when you're older the filters about being polite can be taken away *G*

I am almost more excited about more Who than about Christmas. Even with the sad lack of Rose.

In a complete non sequiteur one of my first stage roles was as the back half of Daisy the Cow. I should have known then.

New Who! I can't wait!

Ahahahahaha. I'm sorry for laughing, but I've never known the back end of a cow before ;)

How's it going at the in-laws?

Well this cow's ass is happy to know you *g*

Things are good. Surrounded by under 20s who are very very bouncy and good at English, even though they're German. It's kinda exhausting so the LWT has taken them off to the beach as it's beautifully sunny and hot and I'm hiding my pale welsh waif skin inside with my mother in law with the excuse that she needs help cooking Weinachten dinner. Instead I'm skimming LJ and reloading the SeSa page just in case *grin*

Have a merry merry merry day and brace yourself for the fab story feedback ;o)

That sounds like a good excuse to me! And man, surrounded by bouncy under 20s, no wonder you're exhausted!

I was dreaming about SeSa last night, about getting a comment telling me everything from the story length, to the title was wrong. I must have been thinking about it too much *g*

Hope you have a great day!

I had an angst attack that I'd read their request wrong, and it should have been angst, after I read it, was reminded of the 'no angst' request, and paniced that the story as was might be angsty to those of a sensitive disposition. It's not, but, you know ...

5 days to new Doctor Who - woot!

Your story isn't angsty at all. Now, if they'd asked for no wiggling in delightness with wonderful *insert pairing here*ness, well, then you'd be in trouble!

New Who! YAY!
