Dec. 26th, 2006 02:21 pmI know I've said this about Christmas eve and Christmas day, but I do love Boxing day too. It's a day of lazing around and eating leftovers, then tonight it's Boxing day tea with trifle and turkey sandwiches and other delicious things.
Christmas was so lovely this year. I scored nicely on gifts, including lots of books and bath stuff, which is what I wanted. The SiL also got me a Captain Jack. Of the Pirates kind, not Torchwood Jack. He's so cool, a couple of foot high and he talks! I have no idea where he'll go, but I'll find someplace. The house is still upside down right now with the kitchen table in the living room and gifts everywhere. But today is not a day for tidying. It's for reading SeSa and eating and being lazy.
Dinner went well yesterday, I didn't poison anyone and apart from two things, everything was cooked very nicely. See, I steamed my veggies, but it seems sprouts take more steaming than other kinds. As I don't like them I didn't eat any, after the jokes about broken teeth and marbles I figured they probably weren't cooked enough. Also, my stuffing balls were renamed stuffing flats. But really, it wasn't my fault! I was distracted, and they were only a little black *g*
Anyway, back to SeSa as it's my vow to read and feedback everyone before the reveal.
