James has taken Corey to a birthday party, so I've been puttering around today. Which meant tidying up and getting the house back into order, especially hoovering the floor which was concealed with a layer of glitter and crumbs.

I had turkey sandwiches and left over pickled onions for dinner, an empty house, coffee and SeSa. What could be better?

SeSa has been so good this year. My recipient loves her story and I've seen it recced a few places, though I've had to sit on my hands at one of those, needing to explain something which I obviously can't do right now.

I'm reading through the list top to bottom, reading and feeding each one, and you know what? There's some amazing stories on there. So many stories and so many gems. I love this fandom, a lot.

Sounds like the perfect way to spend a day *g*

And hail to your stories having been recc'ed several times :-)

Okay so I meant the SeSa story in that particular case, but I'm sure you had your stories - plural - recc'ed in several places already so I rest my case *g*

Oh it is. I should have shame, but I haven't even got fully dressed today. I'm still in my pjs. Though I had to put the pickled onions away, I was getting pickle belly *g*

I'm being damn greedy and reading through the stories, one after another. I just hit one that hit my trickc height difference kink and just, guh! *flails*

Sorry, I liked that one *g*

It's nice to see your story being recced. I mean, I was overjoyed that my recipient liked it, that others do too is a bonus :)

SeSa really has been good, hasn't it? I really think it was the closure that knowing the group was over that has improved the quality. There's no longer this sense of waiting--and the impatience and resentment that goes along with it--hanging over everything. We can concentrate on Lance being gay and Chris doing a weird reality show and Joey maybe doing the Lance show and maybe doing Dancing with the Stars and maybe doing other Broadway and JC still getting fucked by Jive and Justin taking over the world but being honest about wanting to and still helping JC so it's okay. And we can still love that they're all friends and all still talk to each other and see each other, because for all the pain hearing that the group was over caused, we got a lot more of our boys together in twos and threes and fours this year than we'd gotten in recent past years.

Hmm, I may be working up a big old meta post on this. ;)

It's been amazing. Like I said, I'm reading every story from top to bottom, and already I've hit some wonderful stuff that made me go, whoa! I pity the poor people I'm feeding back to, so much of it is just me flailing about *g*

I totally agree with what you've said. I know some people were saying things are over because they're not together, and sure, in some ways that's true. But it's been true for a while, and we've still had them getting together. Chris and Joey's radio show, Lance bidding on Justin, there's so much to use, and I love that our writers take that and run with it.

I love this fandom so very much. I love them so much.

I hope you do make that post. I love reading what you think.

I'm still in the E's, I think (reading by recipient), and while I've found a few that weren't my cup of tea, I haven't found a *bad* one in the bunch. I feel like I'm falling in love with popslash all over again.

Yeah, I've read a few that weren't for me, but that's totally due to my tastes. Not the actual stories. But I've also read so many that make me smile with joy.

I feel like I'm falling in love with popslash all over again.

That's such a wonderful thing to read!

The ones I've read so far, top to bottom, just like you, are wonderful. I'm feeling all warm and fuzzy about them, despite my earlier pissy mood. :)

You've got reason for your pissy mood.

I have to agree with the warm and fuzzy feeling. There's so many good stories, and going from top to bottom means I read pairings I'd usually pass over.

Sesa makes me flail with glee. And it's not the JuC stories this time because I only really like two of them, but the overall group-ness and the way they use today's canon.

I loved all the GSFs a lot, they should be written all the time and not just for SeSa. I've yet to read the other pairings systematically, but the ones I've read/skimmed sound lovely.

I'm with you, the group based stories are great. As much as I adore my pairings, it's Nsync as a whole that I love. So, stories where they're all involved are great.

GSF should totally be written more. There's just something special about all five.

I think my favourite JuC so far is the one set in the castle. That was cool.
