Dec. 27th, 2006 04:18 pmJames has taken Corey to a birthday party, so I've been puttering around today. Which meant tidying up and getting the house back into order, especially hoovering the floor which was concealed with a layer of glitter and crumbs.
I had turkey sandwiches and left over pickled onions for dinner, an empty house, coffee and SeSa. What could be better?
SeSa has been so good this year. My recipient loves her story and I've seen it recced a few places, though I've had to sit on my hands at one of those, needing to explain something which I obviously can't do right now.
I'm reading through the list top to bottom, reading and feeding each one, and you know what? There's some amazing stories on there. So many stories and so many gems. I love this fandom, a lot.

Date: 2006-12-27 04:27 pm (UTC)I'm being damn greedy and reading through the stories, one after another. I just hit one that hit my trickc height difference kink and just, guh! *flails*
Sorry, I liked that one *g*
It's nice to see your story being recced. I mean, I was overjoyed that my recipient liked it, that others do too is a bonus :)

Date: 2006-12-27 04:33 pm (UTC)I totally agree with what you've said. I know some people were saying things are over because they're not together, and sure, in some ways that's true. But it's been true for a while, and we've still had them getting together. Chris and Joey's radio show, Lance bidding on Justin, there's so much to use, and I love that our writers take that and run with it.
I love this fandom so very much. I love them so much.
I hope you do make that post. I love reading what you think.

Date: 2006-12-27 08:19 pm (UTC)I have to agree with the warm and fuzzy feeling. There's so many good stories, and going from top to bottom means I read pairings I'd usually pass over.

Date: 2006-12-27 08:32 pm (UTC)I loved all the GSFs a lot, they should be written all the time and not just for SeSa. I've yet to read the other pairings systematically, but the ones I've read/skimmed sound lovely.

Date: 2006-12-27 09:43 pm (UTC)GSF should totally be written more. There's just something special about all five.
I think my favourite JuC so far is the one set in the castle. That was cool.
