Chris Month Day 14

Chris, that rhyme was fabulous and of course I'll be your valentine, even though you ate half of the candy hearts. I'll forgive you though, I know you need your strength for JC ;)

James and I don't really celebrate valentines day that much, we swap cards but that's pretty much it. Especially as this time of year any spare money goes toward Corey's birthday. James did phone yesterday asking if I wanted some flowers bought, but I told him I'd rather he waited until the prices come down then buy me some daffodils. I know a lot of people don't celebrate or believe in the day at all, but I took a chance I wouldn't be defriended and sent ecards anyway. Sorry to those that got them yesterday, my send finger got ahead of my brain and I didn't set the date.

Anyway. Onto the Chris month post. It's earlier that I usually post them, but what the heck.



Yes, it's corny, yes it's predictable, but I don't care. Today my theme is love, sort of.

Because here's the thing. I know things have changed, and I know some people will think I'm looking at the world through rose tinted glasses, but I believe that they loved each other back then, and bonds like that just don't break. They may thin, or stretch or even look invisible for a while, but they're there. And if that means I need to go live on my island of denial by myself. So be it.

I've been on a bit of a timbertrick kick lately, and this is why. They were so into each other back then. The intensity of their friendship is just, wow. They look at each other and you can see it. They make each other happy. I honestly think they had something special.



Justin spends a lot of time just looking at Chris.

I love that he inspires you to posts like this. I love his sense of humour, the sheer level of silliness that he can and does achieve. Thank you very much - the card was lovely!

Lance was my first love, but it didn't take long for Chris's quirky sense of humor and lust for life to win me over. There are so many times it would have been easy for him to throw up his hands and walk away but he didn't. He knew what he wanted and he worked hard to get there.

I'm finally here commenting! I've loved every pic you've posted and I've also meant to say congratulations on your son's bday. I know it's his bday, but it's also a time to celebrate that you became a mom and James a dad, and well, there's so much more to celebrate ^^ Hence, hugs and glomps for you. About Chris...God, the pics today are fabulous. I have to admit that I love his smile, it's just so honest and beautiful. I've fallen for his hyperactivity and his energy. He's just so..him that it's impossible not to love him.

I love that he did this. I was actually not gonna have my picture taken with him, but changed my mind in the last second. and he was tired, and no doubt hung over, and you know, there was a little group of us, so there was a few pictures taken and 'now with this camera' and you know. he appreciates it. and as a fan, that means the world. that means that I'll keep being a fan.

What is there not to love?
I love his voice, his eyes, his smile. The fact that he simply doesn't quit when he believes in something,and how loyal he is to his friends.
But what really clinches it for me is that no matter the fame, the money and the fact that he could easily retire now, he's still down to earth. I'll never forget that he got down from the table where they were in the Mexico Press Conference for Pop and used his own microphone for the reporters because the guys at Ocesa didn't gave them enough microphones.
Oh, and his sense of humor. What's there not to love?
