turpsJames phoned me earlier and announced he had man flu. At which point I did the real life version of NOOOOOOOO!!!1111!!!! To be fair, he has got a virus, but at this point he's told me he's dying 8897290173 times, spread a mountain of locket wrappers on the floor and sat with his head over a hot water and menthol mixture for ten minutes. Which would be fine but he's only been home an hour.
While he was hacking and announcing his imminent demise I was watching the Friday Night Lights episodes I have recorded, and I like. They nearly lost me in the first episode because man, a,erican football is complicated, but it drew me in by the second. The third is on tonight and I suspect the hooking will be complete then.
I've also been watching some Criminal Minds episodes I downloaded. I was going to wait because James likes the show too and we watch on a Friday night, but I couldn't. Sadly I'm striking out on getting all of season one. My usual sources led to a few episodes, but there's huge gaps in the season.
James has just announced he's sprained his ribs. I'm sceptical that this is actually possible.
But yes, I've watched many shows today, and also spent time at the Pit of Voles, because I had an itch that could only be scratched with many anorexia/kidnapping/angst/h/c/woe is me fics.
Later I'm going to answer the last talk post, because man, there may be fewer BSB fans on my flist, but you're sure detailed and dedicated. You win at BSB video watching! First though, I need to pick up the kidlet from karate. It's probably best not to leave him there *g*

I'm pretty sure man flu just means sniffles and is reassurance that men are indeed absolute wimps.
