Mar. 12th, 2007 07:46 amJames is a darling and decided to share his cold manflu with me. Which just shows that I should have made his diseased self sleep on the couch. Thankfully it seems to be over now, ( well apart from the lingering effects that mean I'm on a two packets a day Soothers addiction right now ), which is good, because no way was I going to be sick this week.
Pen was sorting out room arrangements for Camp Sparkle and I'm pretty much eeeeeeee!!!! right now. Today we go to pick up Josh at the airport and I'm eeeeeee!!! about that too. I'm going with Corey and James to pick him up and we're pretty unmissable, still, I may have to get some sparkly headgear for identification purposes too. Because
pensnest's sparkly tiara sounds fabulous.
I was at nanna's yesterday to see her and dad. We were talking about Josh staying, then me going down to Camp Sparkle. They think it's some kind of Trek conn. It was easier to let them believe that then even think about attempting to explain that no, I know these people because we all love Nsync/BSB having sex together. It was then I got my first 'but what if he's an axe murderer comment' of the year. Which yeah, I get that they're concerned, but an axe murderer? I mean, if I was coming to stay at someone else's house in order to kill them, I'd pick something easier than an axe. How do you get it past customs for one? You can't just have a bloody big axe in your case. Unless you're some kind of Immortal and can do the whole hiding of the sword thing, which surely can be extended to an axe, though I guess the blade may be a problem. Though if they were Immortals they could know Methos and Richie, that's always a plus. But anyway, an axe murderer is so random, and always makes me laugh when it's used as an example.
I need to go start getting my boys ready for school/work then I'm going with my nanna to the doctors. After that I can hopefully catch up again, because man, so behind right now.

I always thought it'd be easier just to poison people's drinks y'know?

Date: 2007-03-12 08:22 am (UTC)I just don't get why an axe murderer. I mean, it's not an isolated incident. Though it could be my family is just fixated on murder by axe. It has to be a hassle killing someone by axe. Well, unless you're a lumberjack, which totally reminds me of Nopseud talking about Justin stalking through the TIPY boyband phallic forest of doom! But, getting off the point here. Which is, poison is so much easier.
Oh honey. I so wish you could come to camp with us all. That would be fabulous in the extreme. But *zips lips* *smooch*

Date: 2007-03-12 08:25 am (UTC)As for the axe murderer thing; maybe they have a special shop for foreign axe murderers? They lent out axes so that they won't have any problems at the airport with the security and stuff. Then after the axe murderer have done their bad deed, they just have to give said axes back and go back to their countries. Or something.

It kills me when people who have no online friends act as if you're crazy for meeting people in real life. The first time I ever did that, I was meeting

I suppose I can understand why people get so worried about online friends meeting up, there's so many scare stories in the media. But they forget that they're a tiny of fraction, and that successful meet ups happen all the time. I know I've met quite a few online people now and none have that axe murderer vibe.

And you'd better be 100% well by Friday, or there will be Trouble. {stern look}
