Apr. 2nd, 2007 02:45 pmI didn't get onto LJ yesterday, so this is late, but it was
ephemera_pop's birthday. She's amazing. An amazing writer, an amazing beta, but most of all, an amazing friend, and I'm damn lucky to have her in my life. Love you, honey.
One of the first things I saw on the flist today was
wistfuljane sharing Linkin Park's new single. If you've been around a while you'll know that they're my favourite band, and man, it's been too long since they released anything new. And now the new album is out soon and I can't wait!
I know Saba likes them too but after that, I'm not sure. Anyway, have the song if you're interested. What I've Done Also, you can see the video here With thanks to
wistfuljane for the song and link.
James has to be one of the most gullible people out there. He was reading the paper yesterday and mentioned that the Angel of the North was having to be moved because it's unstable, and as a result the motorway would be tolled and people would have to pay £5 to pass. Then later, while we were going to nanna's he told me about a new coconut type that had been invented. It seems they're smaller than regular coconuts, can be peeled, and people could eat the whole fruit inside. Even the name, jokanuts, didn't tip him off.
Then when I got home later Silver's monitor went off. I wasn't impressed at all, and it wasn't until much later that it was fixed. It's not surprising it's stating to go, the monitor I'm using right now is ancient. All I can hope is Chris' friend can fix my flat screen. I miss it.
The boiler repairman came today. After describing the problem he said he couldn't do anything unless he can actually see the boiler tripping itself off. Considering it seems to do that randomly there was little chance of that. So, he told me to call if it got worse or stops working altogether. Not what I wanted to hear really. I mean, the boiler tripping off is more of an inconvenience than anything, but still. I want it fixed.
You know how people share good dreams? Well, I had a lovely dream where I had a gorgeous man in a skin tight outfit writhing on a table in front of me. He was covered in body glitter and was just yummy. He also had lots of hot friends. They then were all killed by demons, and just, couldn't the demons have waited!? No more reading vampire books before bed for me.
There's a serious lack of pic posts for the newsletter this week. I may have to remedy that later.

Date: 2007-04-02 02:10 pm (UTC)And at least you got hot skin tight clothes wearing pretty boys from reading Vampire books. The other day, we watched a That 70's Show marathon and I ended up dreaming about people with bad hair and even worse outfits the whole night....

Date: 2007-04-02 04:30 pm (UTC)I had a lovely dream with lots of Sparkly Campers last night! Sadly I can't remember any details anymore but I don't think there was any glitter or nakedness involved.
