I've been adding the Chris month recs at my site. Then when I was reading the flist I saw people giving Nick recs at [livejournal.com profile] phaballa's post, and realised there was no reason I couldn't do it for the other months too.

I know it's late in the month, but I have faith in you all, so if you have a favourite Nick story, let me know please. You don't have to give reasons, but I'd love if you did. I'll post them here by the end of the month, then add them to the rec page at whitelies later.

Any pairing goes, crossovers the lot.

In other news, there is no other news. It's just one of those days.

It's just one of those days.

One of those superduper ohmygod I'm in love with the world days?

Sadly it was one of those I hate the world days, but oh well, it's over now.

A couple of crossovers. Now or Never, a long, hesitant, yummy Nick/Lance story which I go back to every so often because of all the emotions tangled up in it. And of course, what could be a better rec than The Earl of Rothinghamtonfordshire which I *adore*. It makes me happy.

now or never is *delicious*. It is also my ur-story for that pairing.

I love and adore Allecto's And The Painted Ponies Go Up And Down (http://www.keyfitz.org/allecto/pop/fiction/ponies.html), it's such a marvelous story about Nick growing up (Nick/assorted Boys, one Syncer, and a GIRL). Her First Day Back (http://www.keyfitz.org/allecto/pop/fiction/firstdayback.html) is such a sweet little portrait of Nick and the Boys together again.

Coreopsis Sexy Boy part 1 (http://denofsin.slashcity.net/~nsnicker/stories/sexyboy1.html), part 2 (http://denofsin.slashcity.net/~nsnicker/stories/sexyboy2.html), part 3 (http://denofsin.slashcity.net/~nsnicker/stories/sexyboy3.html), and part 4 (http://denofsin.slashcity.net/~nsnicker/stories/sexyboy4.html), lots of snarky dialogue and hot sex (Nick/Lance).

Deirdre's Summer Day's A-Berrying (http://www.infinitepassions.com/linda/summerdays.html) is a sweet and hot and sensual AU about first-time sex (Nick/Kevin).

Genee Li's Hotel Rooms & Headlights (http://geneli4.livejournal.com/338133.html) has an absolute wonderful Nick who completely dominates the story as well as Chris Kane's thougths (Nick/Chris Kane). Her Milk and Toast and Honey (http://geneli4.sitesled.com/milkandhoney.html) is lovely, lovely, lovely (Nick/AJ) and Inside (http://geneli4.sitesled.com/inside.html) is very sad and poignant (no pairing).

Georgina's Perfect (http://www.juppy.org/santa/stories.php?ForAuthorID=76&Year=2005) is a great and wonderful story from the Never Gone tour.

Kate & Adannu's Lance Cat (http://sirkate.livejournal.com/131341.html#cutid15), I love this Nick, he's warm and giving and unsure and absolutely lovable (Nick/Lance).

Lucy's Birds Do It (http://lucy-fic.livejournal.com/73241.html) is so cute and funny and I love Nick as a bear (Howie/AJ, Howie/Brian, Howie/Brian/Nick).

Pet's Shift (http://www.waxjism.org/burymedeep/shift.html) is a very sweet story about the growing closeness between Nick and Howie (Nick/Howie). Her Post Game (http://www.waxjism.org/burymedeep/postgame.html) is scorchingly hot and very, very sensual (Nick/Lance).

Zoicite has written Any And Every (http://www.mediageek.ca/zoicite/fiction/anyevery.html), great Nick voice and a generally lovely story (Howie/Justin, Howie/Nick), and Want (http://www.mediageek.ca/zoicite/fiction/Want.html), lovely story with a young and jealous Nick and it ends in GSF!

I have to add Zoicite's Pathological (http://www.mediageek.ca/zoicite/fiction/Pathological.html) to the list (Howie/Nick), because wow, such an interesting look into the possible Nick psyche.

Jericho's Synchronicity (http://web.archive.org/web/20020203143649/www.popslash.com/bsb/synchronicity.html) (Howie/Nick) is another favorite of mine, because they're SO IN LOVE and it hurts in all the good ways. I love this Nick. (Wayback link.)

Come On Darlin' (http://i-heart-sam.net/fictitiously/comeondarlin.html) by Loey (Brian/Nick.) Because, um. Yeah. It's awesome. And really hot.

Third Wheel (http://lucylooo.livejournal.com/300599.html?style=mine), Good (http://lucylooo.livejournal.com/314861.html?style=mine) and Away (http://lucylooo.livejournal.com/366037.html?style=mine) (Justin/Lance/Nick.) Because this series is SO HOT it kills my brain just thinking about it.
