I've looked around the LJ news and support comms, but couldn't see anything, so I'll ask here. Is anyone else having problems with comment notification?

I've had none for over a day now, and am feeling like Terri no friends.

I'm receiving them just fine. I mean, I'm receiving the ones from my own entries just fine, as well as replies to comment I've made to other journals. Mind you, if I missed some of hose, I wouldn't notice since I wouldn't be getting them, but you know what I mean *g*

I think it was Thursday night when I had the same problem. I had a little comment conversation with someone, and suddenly I they just stopped being notified -- of their comments as well as my own. I received them all in the morning, though.

Not a notification problem, but yesterday I couldn't comment - or at least, the loading of the comment box took so long that in most cases, I gave up.

Awww *hugs* that happens to me-comments not getting to me. Comments from a month or so before show up.

Maybe Lou is stealing them. LOL

I think they are having problems with notifications. This was posted in the_lj_herald on Thursday night and while that note no longer is on the Known Issues page it might still be an issue:

"You may notice some delays in receiving notification email even if you have checked the configurations of your mail filters. This problem has been reported to developers." (source (http://community.livejournal.com/the_lj_herald/38304.html))

I haven't gotten any comment notifications (but I figured it was because I didn't get any comments, heh). But others on my friends list are complaining of the same problem, so it's not just you.

Thursday night the mail server got backed up; Ops had it clear within twenty minutes and the backlog was all delivered within an hour. If people still aren't getting comment email now, it's not that problem -- when we take things off the Known Issues page, it's fixed. :)

I'm still out of the loop but have faith LJ will sort the problem out soon. Until then, all I can do is check the my LJ thing and if I miss any, well not stress about it.
