I was reading the newspaper and The Mirror's entertainment section mentioned that Justin had shut down a shop for thirty minutes so he could buy sneakers. The reporter said at the end that he only bought one pair and would probably not even wear those. Of course my brain immediately added of course he won't wear them, he'll be taking them home to jerk off over. This is all nopseud fault, her and her story Kicks.

Fandom is making me really happy this week. Beautiful new pictures and Lance, Joey and JC being together. I so love the buzz of squee when each new picture appears.

Corey and James are helping at a beaver cub sleepover tonight, so I'm all alone until tomorrow afternoon. I'm about to put on my pjs and there's Doctor Who later ,and before and after that I'm writing remix, which is going nicely right now. I also have strawberries and a big bag of green grapes. I may not move from this room for hours.

Dude, I've just got notification of a new Sucker chapter. I was feeling so cheerful too.

I was just thinking about Sucker this morning, and wondering if we were ever going to get a new chapter, or if she had stopped writing it completely. I never signed up to be notified, so I thought maybe I'd missed it, and then I couldn't find my link to the story, and I was just about to post and ask. So yay? I think? I'm going to save it as a punishment reward for finishing the next part of remix.

Oh man, I hear you! I've just been reading Josh's story and it was so cool, very tense and then I hit a part about JC's lava lamp being destroyed and I had to stop to giggle for a while.

I'm having such a lovely weekend. Uninterrupted fandom time is always great.

Sometimes I wish I hadn't signed up to be notified for new chapters, because it's all so frustrating. Friendsfriends surfing one day I found MHTs LJ and was horrified to read Sucker is only half done. I'd love to think she's use the rest of the time to move things on, but I suspect it'll be just more of the same.

Omg, only half done? That means another 100 chapters to slog through. i caught up with about five chapters last night, and had nightmares all night. I really did. JC had PTSD and AJ was there, but that's all I remember.

That was my reaction too.

Reading last night I wondered how the heck I used to read two parts a week. Everything is just so screwed up and I seriously hate more than half the characters, including people I usually love. It pains me that Chris is so dismissive of the state Justin is in, because he just wouldn't do that. None of them would, and I have to keep reminding myself this is the Sucker world where things are fucked up, and just let it go.

The thing that bothers me most is that those five Boys are so dispicable, but every time they're the least bit nice to anyone in NSYNC, it makes me all happy and squishy, and then I say NO, OMG, they are not nice people!

But yes, it's just the Sucker universe, and just because I can't stop reading it doesn't mean I don't find it disturbing as hell. :)

I hear you. Last night I was reading along and hit a scene with Kevin and Chris. Chris was actually quite chirpy because Kevin allowed him to talk about Brian and they were eating breakfast and I was all, that's so nice, they're having pancakes. Then it was like, hold on. Kevin 'allows' him to speak about Brian, Kevin is casually mentioning Justin being whipped, Chris is calling his best friend terrible names. This isn't nice at all.

MHT must have crack laced words, because the whole universe is disturbing, yet still I read.

Yes! That scene really got me, too, because on the one hand, Kevin is the only one Chris can be totally honest about Brian with, because Kevin knows everything and will tell Chris just how psycho Brian is, and that has to be a relief for Chris, but on the other hand, what you said!
