turpsI've just finished the first draft of remix. I have joy! I've been feeding it to my betas as I go on, so need to change some things they've already suggested then I can send it off for a final beta and hopefully be in plenty of time for the deadline.
Also of the yay. We're going to see Spiderman 3 tonight.
Of the not so yay. I managed to set fire to a pan this morning. I've burned things often, but this was the first time there were actual flames. They were shooting to the ceiling and I had visions of the house burning down. Thankfully while I was dampening a towel they went out, but man, I think I lost a year off my life, plus traumatised poor Corey. I've no idea how it happened either, all I was doing was cooking eggs, turned around to put something in the fridge, and whoosh!
The second not so yay. James was sent home from work earlier because he'd fallen and snapped his leg. Luckily he has another one so we can take the broken one to be fixed.

nopseud's More to Love, because it rocks so very much. By the end my love for Chris and Justin was just exploding. And, for anyone that read my Lynn/Justin/Lamp ficlet from a few days ago, mickeym has just this second posted more to it. It now has added Lamp penetration and I'm almost giddy with glee. Man, I love my friends so very much.

And join the club with the pan thing, I was just boiling up some water when my flames almost burnt my eyebrows off. Turned out my roomate dropped some flammable stuff into the heating elemet and didn;t clean it up. This is also the same roommate who warped two of my pots by starting to boil water and just forgetting about them and LEAVING THE APARTMENT!!!

Suddenly having flames shoot up is damn scary, so I feel for you. But leaving stuff boiling and leaving the apartment. That's just insane!
