As well as it being Pen's birthday, the Dragons and Dwarves challenge also went live today. New stories to read. I have glee! Of course I went to check on mine, and as always I saw something I wanted to change. It always happens in these types of challenges, little bits of story that I want to pick at. So go, read and feed. I will be.
Do you ever not friend someone because they seem so cool and everyone seems to know them so you feel a little intimidated? Then you do and you realise that while they are cool they've become someone you like and not just a name and reputation. No. Just me. Okay then.
My mam is insane, she called earlier she called and asked if I liked my present. Guess what it was. A 24 pack of toilets rolls. Which sure, don't come in wrong, but still.
And now, an icon meme, because why not?

That's Blair Sandburg. I've had that icon forever now. The text looks really bad, but it's one of the icons I hang onto for sentimental value. Also, Blair's wearing the sweater of much goodness! And it reminds me of him standing looking down at Jim, the loft destroyed, and Jim not caring a bit, because he and Blair were meant to be!

It's Chris again! I adore early days Chris so very much. While the braids and braces ( sighs happily ) are my favourites, the long floppy hair & bandanna combinations kills me too. He's so beautiful.
digital_diva made this, and it's such a gorgeous icon. Which is only right because Nick is a gorgeous man. I use it to send love to people, because Nick is bright and happy and just wonderful.
Eeeeee!!! If you don't know this picture is my most favourite one ever you haven't been around here long. Man. So. Much. Love! I wanted it iconed for the longest time, but I was afraid to attempt it, because the picture is so lovely I didn't want it spoiled. So i got Eva to do it for me *g* She did an amazing job.
See, I do like other things apart from the pop boys *g*
It's Chase from House. Chase is my favourite character in the show. He's evolved so much from the one dimension character he was in season one. It took a while to stop seeing him as Billy Kennedy, but once I did, lusting began in earnest.
Ahahahahaha. Cramp. Okay, so here's the thing. Cramp makes me laugh. It's totally an in joke that spread beyond the initial few people at a sparkly gathering and has now become a force on its own. Which amuses me beyond the telling. See, Chris loves Lamp! And Lamp loves Chris. And the more canon we find to support the fact most of the guys had a lava lamp the more delight I feel. It's utter crack and a pairing that surely would only flourish in popslash.
Trickynicky! This was made byturloughishere and I have to say, it's one pretty pairing. Two solid men, dark and light, and they're just gorgeous together.
I really like Supernatural. I'm not really excessively fannish about the show, but the love is there. I read fic and obviously watch the show, I just tend not to squee about it as all my squee is concentrated on the sparkly boys. Anyway. I love this icon because it just shows that they'll never give up on one another. I mean, Dean was pretty much dead, and he wouldn't let go, and Sam didn't think of letting him go. That's love right there.
Everyone needs a happy penguin icon. I tend to use this when I'm commenting to non pop people. Strange as it seems, some people don't like Nsync/Chris....gasp!

I have that feeling just about every time I friend someone. Actually, just about every time I comment to someone. But they're so cool! OMG! What if they notice me! What if they ignore me! What if they think I'm really annoying! And then I went to CS and everyone was so *nice*. I still get the fear, I just manage to ignore it a little bit more.
I am going through a huge Amy Winehouse loving period right now. She's unbelievably good.

Heck, I sometimes do that to people who've been on my friendslist for years who I've associated with. It cycles but sometimes I feel like people must be tired of my comments or waiting for better comments or I don't know what. /weird
