I was just comment chatting to Den, and we were saying how we wanted our own Tardis and who we'd want to travel with us. Which go me thinking.

You have your own Tardis. It can travel through time and space, but also, into different realities. i.e., into tv shows, movies etc.

Who would you pick up to travel with you, why, and would the people you picked get along?

You can pick as many people as you like, celebs, real people you know, dead or alive. You don't have to explain fully, or at all if you don't want to. Chris Kirkpatrick because he's hot! would do. Which is one of my answers ;)

So, who's travelling in your Tardis?

I finished um, a Big Bang fic. But now I have a bunch of other things to write and also, I think I would murder Doctor Who. I haven't seen the newest season yet! I haven't seen all of Torchwood. I totally suck :(

I don't think I'll ever manage to write Doctor Who fic, not even with Lance and JC in there. I started a story with the Ninth Doctor, Rose and Jack once and, ack! Too much wrongness! It's like writing RPF about my parents, or something.

The lovely thing about Who fandom is that it doesn't matter in the least. You could get it 100% canonically accurate down to the tineist detail, and someone would still want to lynch you.

Hahaha omg that is SO true. My friend does the TwoP recaps and he says Who fans are the *worst* with regards to canon. Then again, his other shows are American Idol, the Apprentice, and BSG, so it's not like he needs to worry about a huge amount of canon there.

The Doctor is the last of the Timelords. He travels about in the Tardis. On the outside, it looks small. Itty bitty wee thing. Inside? Oh not so much. The police box is just a disguise the Tardis was stuck in. :D

Jack Traven from Speed, mostly for kicking bad guys' asses (not something I'd be good at), and being smarter than he looks. But also for pretty.

Faith from Buffy, ditto. Also, ditto. And also, for keeping things interesting. *grins*

Vincent Valentine from FFVII/Advent Children, ditto, ditto, and ditto.

OK, I have enough muscle (and brooding, good Lord), I think I need some diplomacy. Um.

Oooh, Giles, from Buffy, because smart and pretty and with the dry humour, and able to be diplomatic when needed.

Teyla from SGA, for zen and smart and sensible.

Jim Brass from CSI for stubbornness and loyalty and smart and whoa!hot.

I guess that's enough, right? Maybe too much? Also, yes, I'm aware that my list is hella weird. *grins*

Since I'm feeling very old skool-ish today I think I would take Turlough because he's a sneaky bastard and that's always a good thing, and K9 because every Tardis needs a smartass electronic dog. I would also take Harper and Tyr, they complement each other and both have a multitude of skills, Duo Maxwell because cheerful 16-year-old terrorists are always handy to have on your side when things get tough, and of course Lance because he would enjoy it so and Kevin because his eyebrows are sure to frighten off at least some potential dangers :-)

Get along? Of course they wouldn't get along. That's half the fun! :-)
