turpsI've just finished reading a most insane Mag 7 series. It had crying and misunderstandings. Hurt feelings and pet names. More crying and two guys I've never seen on screen. Then more crying. For a multiple stories in the series. But what got me was the last one. It was a deathfic, an unwarned for deathfic, but you know, I'd let that go, but then after a whole story of crying and mourning and poor Vin weeping because he'd shot Ezra, who was his one true love, his beloved darling. Then they woke up. And just. If you want to write deathfic do it. But take responsibility for what you write. Have Vin shoot Ezra, stop talking, eating and communicating, that's your right, your story. To suddenly say, and then they woke up is stupid, and annoying and just don't!
Moving on. We had to go pick my mam and sister up this morning. They'd been to Amsterdam for a couple of days and needed picking up from the ferry port. That meant we had to go feed Kay's cats first thing, then drop Corey off at school, go do some jobs then head to first Sunderland then North Shields. It took an hour to get through the Tyne Tunnel and was just frustrating, especially when you're getting calls saying they're waiting and how long will we be? Which, hello. They could have got the metro home, James was putting himself out, and risking being late for work to get them. Though I did have the amusement of hearing what mam thought of the red light district.
I need to go help Corey pack his bag soon. He's going away with the school for a weekend. Some activity camp near Blackpool. He's buzzing about it and has told me what he needs multiple times. He goes tomorrow morning then comes back late on Sunday, after a weekend of canoeing, climbing, night walks etc.
He also gave me a letter about secondary school earlier. He goes for his all day visit soon, and James and me have to go to an evening meeting, to talk to the teachers and order his uniform. Of course it doesn't say how much that will be. Considering the apron he needs is £6 I'm expecting a shock.
First some flist reading. By the time Kay's cats were fed yesterday it was time for The Apprentice final, Britain has Talent and Big Brother. All this reality tv to watch, so little time.
I've just read in JM's post that Lou Pearlman has been caught. This may get me removed from fandom but I have a confession. I think he's scum, I hate what he did to the acts under his care and fully believe he should be thrown in prison for a very long time. But at the same time, when I see lists of his things and people bidding on stuff like the contents of his desk. Well. I feel kind of bad for him. I'm sorry! I can't help it. I think they should have been sold but there's a part of me that hates anyone to be brought so low, even him. Okay. I'll go now. *hangs head*
