bubbleforest is a star and wrote me the most adorable Kevin/Chris ficlet. You need to go read, because people need to understand what a wonderful pairing it is. They go so well together and I don't understand why more people don't see that. Until they do I'll keep asking for Kevin/Chris ficlets from the unwary who offer to write for me.

James has been off work again today. The dr phoned yesterday to see if he was feeling better, which astounded me, they never do that. When he wasn't she told him to go to the hospital to get checked over, so he did. In the end they prescribed him some migraine tablets, but they didn't have any available to give him last night. So we drove to get them today, and the hospital pharmacy didn't have them either. Which meant going back after they ordered them in.

He's got a sick note for the week but is spending most of the time sleeping, with the tv remote clutched tightly in one hand. Funny how he wakes up when I want it.

I also had to get pictures taken for id purposes today. Man, I looked horrible. Huge pale moon face....sigh.

In cat news, Tinker is still hiding away coming out every so often for food and litter tray purposes. Milo is insane. They say cats are curious but he's the nosiest cat I've ever seen. Today he jumped up on the shelf above my computer and sent the marionettes flying. Years they've been there and never fell. Within days of him arriving they're tangled on the floor. He's also claimed Tex's bed as his own. He's curled up there now and Tex is asleep on the floor.

ETA: The second challenge is up at pop_appreciate A lot of feedback was sent due to the first challenge, and that thrills me so much!

Hope James gets feeling better! Nothing worse than having a sick hubby hanging around! ;)

The cats sound mischievous as all get out! I'm sure they keep you hopping! Poor Tex!

She really is. I so admire people who can write ficlets that show so much in so few words.

Thankfully I've never had a migraine. If he's anything to go by I don't ever want that to change.

I hope James feels better soon. I've suffered from migraines since I was eight, although luckily they've diminished a lot over the years. Many sympathies from over here. :(

p.s. Does James drink instant coffee? That's what gives me the worst migraines. Red wine does it too sometimes, but not as reliably as the instant coffee.

Nope, in fact he doesn't drink coffee at all usually. It's weird, he's never had problems like this before, but it does sound like migraine, especially as he saw flashing lights yesterday.
