When I beta I usually add comments that go to the right of the page. They end up in little bubbles with a line linking to the changed part.

Somehow that's not working now and instead a panel opens at the bottom, and the comment is typed in there. I don't like it like that. Does anyone know what I mean and how I can change it back?

I've been trying for a while now, and can't figure it out.

I'm working in Word btw.

I have some images that I'd like to include with my story, is this going to be a problem?

Nope, that isn't a problem at all. What we're doing is posting at the comm first, and when my site is back up we'll have a mirror there.

Either of those take images easily. Just make sure to submit the pics at the same time.

In the track changes tool bar the last button, should remove the reviewing pane.

Ahem. Since joshysleo is talking about sparklyglee stories, I'll probably have links to pictures in mine. And how do you want us to send the stories in anyway? With all necessary html tags, like already worked in?

Links are fine.

What we're doing is posting at the comm first. Which means if you could code in italics etc that would be fabulous. There's no need for paragraph breaks though. Basically like you'd get a fic ready for your own journal, just we'd be posting for you.

If you've got the document in View : Print Layout you should be able to just click the boundary of the panel, and drag that down to nothing, and have the side-bubbles return again.

And/or on the same toolbar menu as the track changes and comments button, there should be one for 'Review Panel' where you can togle it on and off.

Haha, I hate the editing function in Word so much that I just type comments in red and ignore it completely.

I was ready to start doing that too. I tell you, when Word works it works well, when it doesn't it's a disaster!

I find I have to trick Word to make it do what I want, and sometimes I don't have the energy.
