Aug. 1st, 2007 01:35 pmOfficial stuff first. Like I said last night, I've changed ISPs from BT to Sky. That means I'll be losing my bt email addy. It's still working now, but for how long I don't know. Considering BT turned off my internet 1 minute into the day it was to be disconnected I'm surprised it's still active at all. Anyway. I do have a sky address, which is turps33@sky.com, however I haven't linked that to my Outlook Express yet, so if you want to get in touch the best email is my turps33@gmail one.
Now that's over with I can express my woe. The first episode of Mission Manband is up on VH1 and I can't see it! I HAVE WOE! Who wants to take me in so I can watch in a non blocked country?
There is CHRIS! Chris I can't see. However, I've been getting a contact high from
vaudevilles squee and I also have faith in fandom that they'll deliver a download before I go away.
Being offline totally is weird. I watched a lot of tv, both on my computer and the actual tv. But I missed so much. Seeing what you all were up to, and things like checking cinema listings or getting a phone number. I watched a season ender of CSI New York and needed to know what happened, and I couldn't! I mean, how do non online people cope with waiting between shows? I did sort out my media files, deleting a lot of dupes and learned how to burn DVDs that work in my player. That was a fine moment I tell you.
But man, Sky has the worst connection programme ever. It's great if you're a total newbie at connecting your broadband, but really. After I'd seen the animation of a plug being plugged into the wall for the 89878020 time, well I was ready to throw the disc out of the window.
Other than that, nothing important happened. I developed my crush on Emmanuel from Dance X and sorted things out for going away. What I should have done was write my Bassez day story, but no. That would have been too sensible. I don't know if I mentioned I'd joined that, but I have. I was craving a challenge. Someone could have said 'hey, lets have a Sparkly boys in pink panties challenge' and I'd be waving my hand in the air going me! I'll join!
Last. Landro. Landro. I usually like the pairing names, that one makes me twitch. I have no idea why.
