Justin Month Day 7: Mark Abrahams shoot

Before we move onto Justin, I want to wish both kennedy and dryope a very happy birthday. I hope it was a good one, ladies!

I picked pictures from Justin's Mark Abrahams shoot today. Now, these are gorgeous pictures, and could so easily be made into some kind of AU.


Meet Justin. Justin lives in a tiny town in the middle of nowhere. Each day he gets up, eats his breakfast, gathers up his sandwiches , always wrapped in white waxed paper, then sets off to work, kissing his mom on the cheek as he goes. Justin works in the local garage, he likes it there, his boss is good to him, and sometimes he even gets to work on the bikes that are brought in. Justin likes that. A lot.





After a hard day polishing crome and filling gas tanks, Justin likes to relax. He's got a cot set up in the corner. It's behind the coke machine so it's cooler there, and he likes to lie down and dream. Because Justin has a dream. One day he's going to be famous. He doesn't care what they say about him in town. One day he'll be a star!





So he practices his sexy expressions, sure that one day his day will come.





Oh yes, they'll want him. How can they not when he practices this smile?





He's not meant for this dusty little town.





Then one day he wakes up and knows that today is the day. He can feel it, that wispy feeling in his stomach, and even if his mom say it's gas, he knows different. Gathering his clothes, his favourite t-shirts, his jeans with the crease, his cut offs and glittery red thong, he packs his bag and heads for the garage. He looks at the cars parked out back.





Especially the truck with the open back. He can sleep in there. Justin likes to sleep outside.





But that won't do! Why take a car when he can leave on a bike!? Shrugging off his shirt, he ties his bag to the bike, climbs aboard, and roars away. This is his time, baby!





Oh yes, he's going to be famous, people will compete to sign up Justin Timberlake. Ecstatic, he can't help beatboxing to 'Celebrate'.





But woe! The bike suddenly splutters to a halt! Easing himself off, he starts to push it back to the garage, head down, ignoring the cat calls of the ignorant townies who watch him pass.





Soon he's back in his corner. Dejected, he slumps next to his cot.





Suddenly, his boss appears. Throwing an arm around Justin's shoulder, he says, Perk up, JT! Your time is now! Leading the woeful Justin outside, he indicates the truck, saying 'I know it's not as good as a bike, but it'll get you out of here.'

Justin gets inside, 'I suppose.'





It's just, I wanted to leave with some style, you know?





And this, kinda has none.





JT, his boss says, you provide the style, not the truck. Which, hell yeah! JT has style, yo!





Except, 'Boss, who'll pump for you now?'





I mean, it takes a special technique...





...and you have to shake out the last drops...





...I should stay.





Hell, no! His boss says, and shakes his head as he looks through the open window. 'I pumped myself while you were a sparkle in your momma's eye. Now go, JT! Go! I don't want you here anymore.

'You don't want me?' Fine, I'll go!





I won't even look back!





Except Justin has read the books and seen the movie. Fooled you! Justin grins and kisses his boss' dusty cheek. I'll be back, someday.





And that's just how it happened. Maybe.

Ahaha! You know the second picture? I kind of hate that picture. I have that picture on my keyring. It's tiny and cheap looking and randombeefcake! and looks weirdly not like Justin at all, but I won it in the two pence machines at Cleethorpes about five years ago and after I'd squinted at it for a bit and worked out it actually was Justin, I couldn't bear not to keep it. Somehow I like it better because I find him completely unattractive in that picture. I don't know.

I've never seen the rest of this shoot, but some of the other pictures I actually like. Especially with the commentary attached. :)

I like this shoot, some of the pictures look very posed, especially around the mouth, ( man, I sound like one of the panel from America's Next Top Model ) but he can pull it off.
