digital_diva is a big old meanie who refused my picspam request! And she tells fibs! And she keeps calling me names.
Related to my If Nsync were in the SPN fandom post of yesterday,
musiclover03 has made Sims of Kacey/Jared. Kacey is JC's OMC, who in no way is based on himself. See, JC works at this little downtown diner, flipping burgers during the day, and singing to the customers on a Friday and Saturday night. Just him and keyboard, making beautiful music. Which is totally different to Kacey who works in a pancake place, flipping pancakes and playing piano at the weekends. Also, JC would like to point out that his eyes are blue, while Kacey's are brilliant emerald orbs, and while Kacey has russet streaked mahogany tresses, JC's are just plain brown.
So go check out the Kacey/Jared action.
sperrywink posted the most gorgeous promo pictures of Reid and Morgan from Criminal Minds. The first one of Reid is just gorgeous. His hair, it flips at the bottom. It curls up on one side and down on the other, that's so cute! Then Morgan, the second one is my favourite, that vest does things for him. Just lovely.
Talking of tv. I've been enjoying this new season.
I still can't believe I'm talking about this because I was so anti Miami, but now. Now I have to watch. I haven't actually seen the end of last season, so Ryan working at the rifle range was a shock. It was so wrong. He's meant to be solving crimes not loading guns. I haven't got any history with the show, so Horatio's son had no emotional affect on me, just he's a cutie. The son that is, Horatio remains a weird looking little man. I did feel for the son when he was fleeing from the coast guard. He looked so scared.
After mainlining 4 seasons, I was looking forward to this. Tim's hair looks great, and wow, I seem to have a hair fixation today, and Abby was adorable as ever. I loved how pissed off Gibbs was when he found out about Tony, I want that man at my side if I'm ever in trouble. I really like Ziva too, I know a lot don't, but I think she's a great character, and Ducky. His glee when he realised the lungs couldn't be Tony's. Even though I knew Tony hadn't died, I still did an air pump of celebration with him.
Talking of which. The scene where they saw Tony's car explode was just heart breaking. Poor Gibbs, thinking he'd lost another of his people. But I have to say, Jenny annoyed the hell out of me. Just, shut up already. It's your fault Tony is all sad.
I liked the episode, but it seemed choppy, which isn't surprising considering they had to modify an excising episode to deal Mandy Patinkin leaving. As for the end, I'm not sure if Gideon is going to attempt suicide, it just doesn't seem like a very him thing to do. I would have thought he was just turning in his gun and badge, but people who saw the trailers for next week said Reid goes looking for him in the cabin, suggesting something bad. If so, poor Reid. What with his mother issues, and his kidnapping and drug issues last season, he's really not having an easy time of it. Finding his mentor's body would be the icing on the cake.
I haven't watched House yet. I'll get to that tomorrow hopefully.
I have the urge to write trickyfish, and I have no idea why. I'm writing BSB for
autumnchallenge, but the urge for trickyfish is just there. I told myself, no more trickyfish for a while, I mean, most of my major stories were trickyfish last year, and sure I keep adding to Boxes 2, which is trickc and lambs, but still. I want to write a long trickc fic, but I can't. It's like, I love them deeply and I might screw up and someone else needs to write a long plotty trickc, because I need one!
The kidlet is coming on to use the computer for a while, I said he could play Sim City as long as his homework is done, and he's just about finished. But thinking of that reminded me of something that annoyed me last week. We're thinking of getting Corey his own PC for Christmas, he doesn't need anything high end, just enough to get online, Word and software like that, plus a good graphics card, enough so he can play Sims. I told the salesman that, and he pointed out a few machines, all of which were running Vista. I mentioned that I'd heard Vista didn't play nicely with games, and man, he turned into such a condescending ass. Telling me he hadn't heard that and I had to understand that this was a brand new operating system and they always had bugs, but they'd get sorted out as long as you had a new PC and printer. Which, way to lose a sale.

Date: 2007-09-27 06:54 pm (UTC)If this says anything: Dell started out saying that they were going to stop selling XP within six months of Vista's release. They had so many unhappy customers and returned computers, that they completely turned the policy around--there's now no deadline on buying XP, and they are offering XP licenses and software to Vista owners, in case they want to revert it to the earlier version. No, seriously.

Date: 2007-09-28 08:19 am (UTC)This was one of the major computer stores I was at. He was showing me systems in the £400-£500 range, then went on about how it would be another £100 for Word and the same for a printer. Which is insane. You can pick printers up really cheap now.
We're going to one of the independent shops instead, they're building us what we need for just under £400, that includes printer, flat screen etc.

But you're just a woman, what do you know about computers, it's only men that really understadn them you now. /end irony

That was totally the attitude he conveyed. One of those young guys who think they know everything.

Date: 2007-09-28 08:30 am (UTC)It is a lot of shows, and I forgot to say I'd watched CSI New York too. I keep seeing all these great shows and wanting to download, but as it is I'm downloading at least one thing every day, and I kind of need to live as well as watch tv *g*
Oh, The Black Donnellys premiered here last night. I couldn't tape it though as Thursday is a mega dvr taping session in our house. We were already taping two things, James watching tv downstairs and me watching the tv in bed. I just hope it's repeated this week. Which I'm sure it will be.
I'm quite, whoa, that you hate NCIS. Then again, I didn't like it until a few months ago. I used to catch bits here and there and turn the tv over, now I'm an NCIS addict. It's weird how things change.

That is so true, I hadn't thought of that. CM is such a harsh show. They don't let anyone off easy.

Date: 2007-09-28 08:37 am (UTC)CM really is a harsh show. I really want to know where they take this next week. I mean, I enjoyed this episode, especially the case aspect. It's just, they stopped at a mean place.
