Happy birthday, [livejournal.com profile] charlidos! I hope today is wonderful for you.

I've read all the [livejournal.com profile] autumnchallenge fics, and I enjoyed them all. So, I thought I'd tell you about them.

(This Is How We Like To Do It) On The Murder Scene by [livejournal.com profile] txtequilanights. Vampire Group Nsync.This is written so well, and made me laugh so often .There's so many details that made me smile, which I won't list because they need discovering by the reader.
You, Robot JC centric. by [livejournal.com profile] phaballa creepy and sad and it's the perfect accompyment to the video. I loved it.
The 5-0 Grind Trickc. This is awesome! Told from JC's pov as he works at the 7-Eleven, it's the trickc story I've been waiting on for a long time. Funny and written so well. It's JC! And Chris! Trickc! &hearts
Rock Anatomy. Sphynkster’s true Story by [livejournal.com profile] luxshine Chris, plus Sphynkster. I really like how Lux wrote this, Chris the journalist who goes to interview Sphynkster. This is yet another story that made me laugh often, and the details are so cool.
In All Of Creation by [livejournal.com profile] withdiamonds Nsync Sometimes I read a story, and go, whoa. Donna's story is one like that. It's written so beautifully, and it makes you think while developing this claustrophobic feel. I thought it was a little sad and a little happy and just fantastic.
That's the Way Nsync, a coffee shop. It's a lovely comfortable story that I enjoyed reading.

And now because i have a cold and am kind of brain dead, let's fill some space with the

best desktop ever! Thats one reason why they should have continued to do the challenges. Those intimate JC/Chris moments. We need more of those!! Its always Chris hugging JC too-- that pic.. joeys wedding...the last challenge..

Awww *hugs* sorry you're not feelin better. Visualize Chris taking care of JC :)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Chris and JC laying on the couch together. JC's head rests on Chris' chest, while the rest of his sleeping body extends down the length of Chris' body. They're spending a quiet evening at home watching a movie after a long day of work. Both work at the local unversity- JC being a French Professor while Chris is the Head Ice Hockey Coach. Both work long hours, but they love what they do so it's really not work at all.
Today has been a bad day for JC as the students in his last class were rather unruly and uncooperative. A frustrated JC ended his class early in response to their behavior. He shut his book, grabbed his things and said that since the class didnt want to listen-he was done there for the day. Chris, upon hearing this, made sure his partner had a relaxing evening.
JC appears to have dozed off during the movie. Chris doesn't mind-he's not really watching it anyways. Rather he's looking at his pretty kitten sleeping contently on his chest. He runs his fingers through JC's chocolate curls, the soft locks slipping through his fingers like silk. Chris gently moves his hand to caress JC's ears- and JC begins to purr. Chris just smiles and looks over JC's shoulder to check and see if a tail has grown out of JCs backside. "Je t'aime chaton (I love you, Kitten.)" Chris says softly, kissing JC's forehead.
Some other teachers---as you can see Coach Kirkpatrick is quite fond of Professor Bass-- he teaches Physics :) Coach Timberlake coaches Basketball and Mr Fatone is an acting teacher/play director.
Here the five get together for a charity ice hockey game event benefitting each of their departments. Students against the teachers. The teachers lost yet fun was had by all.
Hi! Greetings from another cold braindead person!
I've read five out of eight, and all have been very enjoyable so far.
Whoa @ the comment stats! The figures are freaky, plus that's ALOT"" of comments. Esp. compared to my 12,170 - 6,601.
Your community list is impressive.
Hope you're starting to feel better now. Finally I am.
I'm glad you enjoyed the challenge stories. Actually, you're the perfect person to ask something. I know the URL changed slightly for the JuC swap stories. I actually have spare time at the moment, so could you point me in the right direction.
Well, in terms of comments I have been around a long time. The years add up *g*
Have fun!
Also, you're the perfect person to ask: did I ever send you flailing feedback for your remix story, also known as my favouritest story written all year? Because I'm pretty sure I wrote it, but can't remember if I ever actually sent it.
I've checked my feedback files, and nope. Though man, I have the biggest smile just now. My poor remix story is the most unloved one this year.
That's the one. Don't get me wrong, I got some great comments, just not many. Which is totally due to it being remix I think. I talked to some other remix writers, and apparently it's a challenge that a lot of people just don't read.
However, thank you!
Yeah, I know what you mean. I think it was Pen and I that talked about that once and I remember thinking back on my own behaviour before I knew so many writers and coming to the conclusion that it's probably due to several factors. One being the most simple, you get no info about the stories at all, not even pairing, and that turns some people off. Another is that many people (me among them :-) feel like they need to read the original story first to properly appreciate the remix and that takes time. And lastly I've always had the feeling that many of the writers who take part in the remix are the "edgier", more difficult writers and that they also tend to chose the "edgier, more difficult stories to remix. This last is of course entirely subjective from my point of view :-)
You're totally right. I mean, before I joined this year I tended to keep away from reading Remix unless desperate for new fic.
That's interesting about the edgier writing thing. But I can see where you get that idea. Saying that, I must help buck the trend, no way is my stuff edgy *g*
