Okay people, this is when I poke you all with my pointy sparkly pimping stick of doom! I don't even care if you've seen this multiple times on your flist, because Make the Yuletide Gay is live!

You have a week to sign up, and I expect you to do just that! Sign or get poked! If you've done this multiple times before. Sign. If you're new. Sign. Because believe me, there's nothing like jumping in at the deep end.

How fantastic is it to get a story written for you? Very! Think of all those pairings, all those stories. Think of the collective groans that sweep through popslash fandom when the assignments arrive. Don't you want to be part of that? Of course you do!

In other things that have made me happy. sperrywink has written a Pete/Mikey ficlet just for me. It's flocked so I won't gush, but I adore it.

ETA: Seeing that number go up at the site is wonderful. I suppose I should go join myself.

Don't think that I actually want you to poke me - though it does sound a bit kinky so maybe I could enjoy it. I have to think about it - you know that I can't sign up. It's a challenge! With a deadline! And even worse you commit to write something for someone else! Way too much pressure for me, really.

Plus? If there's a challenge I don't like it's the kind of challenge where people exchange fics. I just... okay I've seen so many posts that went along the lines of 'I know this isn't what you asked but' 'I know I twisted your idea but I hope you like it' 'I know you wanted bottom!Jensen and jealous!Jared but I decided to turn the tables around, hope you don't mind?' that I keep wondering whether I'd really get what I want in return. Which is selfish but I wouldn't even be sure my recipient would like it, anyway!
