Every Sunday I watch Top Gear. Now I have no interest at all in cars, but the presenters? Oh yes. The show couldn't be more slashy if it tried. Of course, while Richard is adorable, and may I say, looking amazing this season, thinking of Jeremy Clarkson in terms of slash is disturbing. Yet it's there. Every week. It's right up there with me thinking Simon Cowell is kinda attractive, and Craig Revel Horwood from Strictly Come Dancing being hot. My guilty secrets as it were. Not that they are, because I have no shame in admitting them. Except for Jeremy, who's only appealing when he does such things as lift Richard so he can put a car name on the board, or heading off on challenges, the other two at his side.

Oh wow. There's a Strictly slash comm! It has Craig/Bruno slash. Which is so wrong! Craig needs to be with someone better than him. Man, if someone has slashed Bruce I may wither and die.

Well, that was disappointing. Only a few stories. I have woe now.

Anyway. Other things. There are 65 people signed up for Make the Yuletide Gay the popslash Secret Santa fic exchange. Which I think is wonderful. But you still have time to join and make that number rise. Honestly, I love SeSa time, and if you've ever felt like you want to write popslash, now's the time to go for it! People will be around to help. Or if you've drifted a bit. Come back to us for a visit.

Go. Sign!

Really, fandom has been making me happy lately, especially seeing the glee resulting from the Jared & Jensen convention. I do love to see fannish squee.

In conclusion. Top Gear slash FTW!

[livejournal.com profile] blazey is obsessed with Top Gear. If she's watching when we're chatting on IM, I usually get a moment by moment recap of the show. It's so cute.

Yay for SeSa pimping. I did some yesterday in a couple comms. *is bad* and I was sorely tempted to do it in all the comms that I'm in. lol. I controlled that urge though.

Top Gear is amazing. I couldn't tell you about the cars they mention, but the presenters. Oh yes!

Yay for your SeSa pimping! Go you!

Now I'm trying to imagine what Jeremy Clarkson would say if he ever found a slash fic in which he was featured.

Hee.

I'm sure he'd be suitably horrified with lots of bluster. But really, he shouldn't be hauling Richard around, it just encourages people *G*

I love Top Gear! I suspect it's because of the high level of mockery/humor. I wonder why that is ;-)

Also, Craig IS of the hot!

I don't think I ever recced that SG1/Dr Who/Top Gear story I read I don't-remember-how-long-ago. Very funny with lots of slashy innuendo. Here's the link (http://community.livejournal.com/crack_van/2203370.html) to the [livejournal.com profile] crack_van rec.

My sister is a very, very strange creature - you can tell this because she writes TG fic... but it's not slash.

I keep thinking, "come on, you know you want to write Hammond/Clarkson". But the whole concept passes her by. I mean, she can watch Supernatural without wishing they weren't brothers.

It's just. Not. Normal.

:P

Wow. I can't imagine anyone writing Top Gear gen. The slashy vibes are off the scale, I didn't think anyone would be able to ignore them.

...yeah. My sister doesn't do slash at all - not even in the slightest - it's just not her thing. Which I find truly bizarre, but it takes all sorts to make the world go around!

Top Gear. I have an unholy love for that show.

It's amazing what you fall in love with. I mean, a car show? Not that I ever see the cars *g*
