Dec. 10th, 2007 07:24 pmHappy birthday to
goneplatinum. I hope you're having a great day!
Corey's team won a game tonight! It made the two hours standing in the cold totally worth it. Now if he could move that winning streak from the school team to the club team, that would be great.
It's been a long day today. James went to see the nerve doctor, and underwent some nasty tests, some of which included sticking needles into his muscles then shocking them, which ouch. It was fascinating watching how the equipment worked, but poor James is hurting right now. The doctor said there was something wrong with the nerves running from his neck, which may be affecting his hand. Which means more tests and hospital visits.
After that it was calling in to grab something to make for tea, posting cards, then watching the rugby tournament. There was only me, James and two other mams there supporting our team. We may have been shamefully loud and enthusiastic. But I really need to remember to wear my trainers when I'm at the games, my feet are so cold!
Other things. First,
rikes is offering sparkly Christmas downloads, complete with discussion on some posts. You should go check out her journal and tell the world how much Justin's fuzzy jumper rocks.
Also, as I left this morning I noticed
vaudeville's had posted All that Stuff's A Sideshow. I've watched this story grow for months now, and I love it; a lot. It's a long, wonderfully written trickyfish fic, and I think you should all go read it and enjoy. Which is exactly what I'll be doing later, a treat for tonight when I've thawed out.
