I don't think I mentioned this, but I received my pic for 1000 assignment. I thought the watercooler of last year was challenging, this years is even more so. It's three dusty bottles of wine, I think, and my mind has gone to either JC and his wine cellar, or some kind of desert island story where they find a stash of alcohol and drink that, getting wasted on a beach. It could be an unofficial continuation of Stranded, because there needs to be more stranded on desert island stories, and bus crash stories where they're forced to survive in the wilds, running through pitch black fields, chased by rabid cows, and fall in rivers where they're nearly swept to a watery death only to be saved by one of the others running along the bank with a tree branch where they'd dive on their stomach and hold out the branch, shouting for the drowning one to grab on!

I may even do two stories for the challenge, it would be a good chance to write in a new fandom, post a story then pretend it isn't mine.

Today I've also opened the file for the next wtf27 story, which is MPREG. I'm determined to get that series finished this year, I mean, high school AU, fuck or die, wake up gay. So much fun! Though my hate to write sex side is cringing at the thought of actually writing fuck or die, because all I have is this image of Chris, Lance and Joey lying there all pathetic and dying and Justin and JC having to go at it like rabid bunnies, creating enough sexual energy to bring the others back from the brink. Thrust JC! Thrust! Faster! Harder! Do it for your friends!

Yesterday I gave Silver a tune up, and now he's working fine. Goodness knows what was wrong with him, but all the lagging is gone. Also yesterday I finally got to talk to ninjetti75, as always our chat lasted hours and a variety of things, but the most important is this. Josh is writing me season 4 of Mutant X as my Christmas gift! It's the most wonderful thing ever. Every wishlist I do I ask for s4 of MX, and he's giving me it. One new episode a month, and just. My joy is immense, because my boys! Brennan, Jesse! Plus Shal and Adam and Lexa. 12 Josh written stories of my favourite show, and he gave me a sneak peek of the first part of episode one, and my boys. So much love.

Last thing, would anyone be willing to let me bounce ideas off them for pop_appreciate's scavenger hunt?

At first I thought you were asking if cows could actually be rabid, and I was all, yes! Because I was chased by a cow once and I'm sure it was foaming at the mouth¹. Then I thought maybe you meant in fic, which is a bigger yes! Because a whole herd of rabid cows would chase them, and one would eat Justin's head!

I have seen that comm and think it's a fantastic idea. The thing is, it's so visible, and I'm scared about taking that step where I actually write something to show the bandom fandom. I mean, we're friends, so it felt unofficial, the comm not so much. And yeah, I know, I need to get over myself.

You know, I don't think fuck or dies says that they have to fuck *each other*. It could be, one by one they have a choice to fuck someone/thing or they die horribly. It could be really funny or really, really icky depending on which way you want to go with it -- maybe they're under the impression that this time the death will be permanent. (Although, y'know, either way Lynn should probably feature. Whether it's icky or funny depends on whether you pair her up with Justin or Chris. :-)
