oh terri i love how you've woven mikey and gerard so completely in this. that sounds silly considering the story is about them. but you've captured what i think goes on in mikey's head. the quiet and not so quiet desperation over wanting gerard to not kill himself but at the same time wanting to shake him to be the strong one.
