James just came home from the doctors with a sick note for 8 weeks. Feel free to imagine my reaction to this. Before he went he gave an example of his amazing observational skills when he noticed I was limping, and yes. Yes I am, and have been for a few days now.

I was plotting out stories earlier. The prompt for Chris/Danny Taylor is wanting to pull away from me, becoming a cross where Chris disappears and the only person who actually notices is his housekeeper when she wants to get paid. It would have Sam interviewing Chris' friends who live in his house and they wouldn't have even noticed he was gone. Martin sent to interview his bandmates, and none of them have seen him for weeks. Jack ringing Bev. I have to remember this is a ficlet only though.

Then this morning lesasoja gave me a five things that got me thinking of a story where Mikey sleeps with Patrick because he wants to know what Patrick's got that's so special that Pete would leave him because of it. In my mind it would end up a Pete/Patrick/Mikey threesome, because that would be much of the hot.

Which brings us nicely to this. That people, is my journal in a nutshell.

That plot of yours sounds awesome! Totally the kind of angst that would push my buttons. Also, nothing stops you from eventually coming back to the ficlet and make it longer, right? Could be fun :-)

I have to admit, it's a story I'd love to read, and write. It's lodged in my brain now, which is inconvenient as I have so much other stuff that needs doing. Still, it's so tempting.

Eight weeks! *squeak of dismay* Hmm. I hope you're coming to Camp Sparkle for the whole week! (If you need to get home in stages, you're welcome to stay at my place the following weekend - we could arrange to meet James somewhere part-way up the motorway.

Eight weeks seems a lifetime sometimes.

I am taking care of my leg, resting up when I can and making sure to take my tablets. That's all I can do, really.
