Love the pop fandom post!

I'm totally stealing this from someone, I just can't remember who. Sorry! If you did it for your fandom let me know and I'll credit.

It's Valentine's Day today, and that means there's love in the air. So why not harness that love and shower it upon our fandom? Not people in fandom, but things you love. For example. Comment with how much you love the unedited holiday message, and hopefully people will squee along with you before commenting with something they love too. It'll be a big old squee/love fest about our most wonderful fandom.

Anything goes. If you love Chris' beard horns, or Lance's wonky eyes or Justin's fro, tell us! Just keep it one thing a comment so people can comment about that specific love too.

Now go, play. Don't make me look silly with no comments.

I love love love the Backstreet Boys 'Cup My Ballots' interview. Along with 'Around the World' it's the thing which really helped me appreciate the Boys as more than extra characters in Nsync stories. If there's anyone who hasn't seen it, you should dl it NOW, because it is MADE OF LOVE.

I love the Backstreet Boys MTV Bitesize outtakes! trumpterofdoom just posted it the other day actually! It's what made me completely fall in love with Kevin with the "Thump thump thumpity thump...Here comes Peter Cotton Tail thumping down the bunny trail."

You know what? I love the stoopid pairing names in popslash. The leaps of logic - we get Timbertrick and Timbertone and... Lambs. TrickC and JuC and JoeC and... Bassez (which should totally be C-Bass but never mind). We get glorious names like Letterboys. I'd never been in a fandom which had stoopid pairing names before I found popslash, and it works for me.

I know you said it, but I have so much love for the fro. Especially when it was getting to epic Sideshow Bob proportions. I have always had curlyhair envy.

Also: The Making of Pop! Justin and Chris messing around, chasing after each other, being idiots and loving it. JC preparing to get groped. Chris protesting against the models meat market by putting himself in the middle of it and being ridiculous. Lance: "Joey would've eaten the shrimp." The way JC grins when Chris is making fun of his hair.
Joey! Joey coming back injured and so determined, and all of them being so glad to see him and proud of him - Justin hugging him only half-jokingly and JC being all attentive with the dancing. Can you tell I've watched it a few times?

I love the That's the Way Love Goes video. OMG I ADORE IT SO MUCH. It was the first time I saw JC with the longer hair and my love for him just exploded. And Lance was all cool and disdainful, and Justin rubbed against a pillar, and Chris's high voice and Lance's low voice and Joey being all warm and all of them hanging around together and I LOVE IT. And also it inspired Cal's Resort! So!

I love the Temptations medley! It shows just how well all five of those boys can really sing. I have the original Can't Get Next To You and I like Nsync's better. Also, I love how even though by that point JC and Justin did all the leads on the album, that they arranged the medley so that all 5 of them got to sing lead and showcase their vocal talents. ♥
