Spent a strange evening last night, just surfing again. I can't seem to get the concentration to write just now, so I'm surfing through sites I normally wouldn't touch.

I have this thing where sometimes I think of a show and wonder if it's been slashed, so far the only show I've haven't been able to find slash stories about is Sliders, which is weird but not what I'm talking about

Last night I decided to look for Friends slash. I'm not really a fan of the show, I'll watch it if nothing else is on, but I wouldn't search it out. Can I say Friends fanfic sucks! Most for some strange reason is in script format, and there doesn't seem to be any darkfic at all. The few slash stories that I found were totally uninteresting. But what astounded me was this forum I surfed to. It was a Friends fanfic board and hell, were those writers vicious about each other. I thought TS was bad, on that board they were telling each other that the stories were bad, stop writing etc, onlist flames, yet no one saw them as flames. Doubt I'll be trying that fandom again.

It was a strange weekend. My best friend came over, and though I love her dearly she doesn't understand fandom at all. She thinks my Trek stuff is insane ( doesn't everyone have autographed pics on their living room wall )and just doesn't get why I'm so obsessive about tv shows. She's also very straight laced, is shocked when I lust after other men. I mean James isn't bothered, we both think look don't touch is fine, but Jill thinks that's close to cheating, as for porn, it's a no go. So like I say, I love her loads, but I could *never* tell her about my internet life. Which is such a shame as it's such an important part of me.

Suppose it's her loss, she'll never know the satisfaction of watching/reading two hot men getting hot and heavy with each other
