Jun. 4th, 2008 11:26 amIt's such a beautiful day today. We had to go get cat litter and food and on the drive home we had the windows down, the wind in our hair, Gee Way singing about being a bad bad man and it was just lovely.
Though man, we stopped at the garage for some petrol and I got to thinking about what I'd write for the June Bug. While I was poking at a Gabe/Justin idea I started thinking about what the smoosh would be, and decided it would have to be Jube, which made me laugh so much.
Thinking of smooshes. Is the phrase being the town bike a world wide thing? Because you really need that context to love Bikey as much as I do.
That OTP meme ending up with me OTPed with Chris, Brennan, Mikey and
castalie. Isn't that a grouping of joy?
Sadly my dragon fic went wrong yesterday, however, I have amazing people who are helping me fix it. I know I keep saying it, but this is why a good beta is worth their weight in gold. Someone who'll actually say, that doesn't work, and this is why. So yes, dragon fixing is in my plans for this afternoon.
Last thing as I was reminded of this this morning, and I need to flush her out somehow. DD, I have some pretty men for you.

You're welcome :D

Date: 2008-06-04 10:42 am (UTC)If it means that everyone rode them or used them for a ride, then I've heard that phrase before. And if that's not what it means, then, wow, it's a sad thing because it's pretty fun as phrases go - in some context, I guess if someone said that about me, it wouldn't be funny - and it creates some nice imagery ;-)
Thanks for the nice lil picspam.

Date: 2008-06-04 10:52 am (UTC)But yeah, if I were called the town bike I wouldn't be impressed at all, but in a fic context, and knowing what I like. It works nicely.
You're most welcome. I do love picspamming.
I didn't add this one because it didn't fit, but I'm sure you'll enjoy. Also, I hope your mind goes the same place as mine ;)

Date: 2008-06-04 01:27 pm (UTC)Or better yet, Mikey starts getting bored after the MSG show and Alicia makes him get out of the house. When he pulls his money out of his wallet to pay for his coffee at the local indie coffee house, (none of that corporate stuff now that he's HOME,) a piece of paper falls out and he picks it up off the floor. He forgets that he has a drawing from before MCR made it big that he ripped from Gee's notebook. It only takes him a few minutes to plan the rest of his day. The needle is just the right amount of pain to release the pressure that has been building inside of him. He no longer wants to scream or cry. Missing his 4 brothers is hard but he can do this.
I love this tat, but I'm not sure it's something Gerard would draw or Mikey would get on his neck, but sexy it would be.

Date: 2008-06-04 02:59 pm (UTC)Gerard pretending to be a bad bad man will never stop being hilarous! Did you see this post (http://stardustonsable.livejournal.com/40921.html) about the scary leaders of the emo death cult? :-)
Gabe/Justin idea I started thinking about what the smoosh would be, and decided it would have to be Jube
Or Jabe! Or Gustin! Or even Gastin! *giggles hysterically*
Is the phrase being the town bike a world wide thing?
We haven't got a phrase like that in Sweden, the only ecquivalent is much coarser and translates to "village whore".

Date: 2008-06-04 08:32 pm (UTC)Gastin. Ahahahahaha. Obviously Justin makes every pairing name funny.
Hmmm, village whore is the same thing really, but it is a cruder way of saying it.

Yay, pretty men primping! That considerably brightens my day. :)

Also, over here, we call them "the town's mattress" (did I spell that right? I have no idea) which I assume means the same thing ;-)
