I think I'll have to move all my storyfinder communities to a filter. I'm constantly playing catch up these days and if I move them my flist will ease a lot. I'll miss the insanity that magically appears before my eyes, but something has to give because right now I'm dropping the ball on a lot of things.

I'm very amused that the two stories I posted yesterday have gained such different reactions. The dragon story getting exactly the reaction I expected.

My neighbour found her ring yesterday, well Corey did anyway. After all the time I spent looking through the bark she's thrown it even further so it was on the other side of the garden. Of course Corey walked out, looked for about a minute and saw it. Still, she was so happy when he found it all the looking was worth it.

Randomly, I love Thursday night tv because it's when Gossip Girl and The Big Bang theory are on, and man, do I love those shows.

A meme to end.

You are in a mall when the zombies attack. You have:
1. one weapon.
2. one song blasting on the speakers.
3. one famous person to fight alongside you.

Weapon can be real or fictional, you may assume endless ammo if applicable. Person can be real or fictional.

(1) I'm assuming I get some adrenalin rush or something in this attack because otherwise I'd just run because I'm a wimp. Anyway, I'd have a phaser set at the death level. I'm sure zombies can't stand up to Trek tech.
(2) In the End by Linkin Park. It's a very stirring song, and if I'm going down to zombies I need something to get my grrrr going.
(3) Brennan Mulwray from Mutant X. No contest. He'd blast those babies and when he was done we'd get to work re-populating the world.

In conclusion. Big Bang \o/

What a hardship, right? ;-)

Heee!

What I want to know is, was the apple stabbed before Ray put it into his mouth. I hope so.

Can you imagine. The poor guy is lying there, an apple shoved in his mouth and then Gee's coming at him, knife raised *g*

That picture never fails to crack me up, because the Ways are all "oh, ok. brb looking spacey" and Frank is, well. Angry-faced and wielding a chainsaw. How so ridic, seriously.

Hee, yes, exactly! I kept looking at it this morning and laughing because it really is ridiculous. Some of their photo shoots are just insane.

Yay for Corey finding your neighbor's ring! How fortuitous was that?

Funny picture! Ray's got nice hands.

I couldn't believe it when he found it. She was so happy though, mind you, I don't think Corey was impressed when she kept kissing him *g*

Ray does have nice hands. When I'm reading your comment in my mail the picture cuts off just above Ray's hand splayed over his tummy, and it's a damn hot image. Then you scroll and it turns ridiculous again.

I have two major filters for my flist - one for comms and one for personal journals. There's some, like layout, etc that I don't even add to the flist and just check those occasionally. My default view is for everything, but most days I go through the personal stuff first to make sure I don't miss anything, then go back and do the comms. THEN I save fic in new tabs in Taboo and go back and poke away at THAT as I have time. What a process! *g*

That makes a lot of sense, and before I forget, thanks so much for the taboo rec. I've been using it and it's so good! Plus, without 50+ open tabs my computer runs faster. Go figure *g*

I did take the storyfinder comms off this morning, and may take more of the communities off later.

LJ, so complicated at times!

You're very welcome! I found it the other day when I was trying to find a news ticker (which I never did find) and it's been love ever since. ;-) And yeah, it's amazing how much better it is with just a handful or so open, yeah? ;-)

Who would ever have thunk LJ could be so complicated? Oh wait. Don't answer that. *g*

I still have one story left to read in the Dragon Challenge and I haven't read your bandslash gen story and I saw that both [livejournal.com profile] bexless and [livejournal.com profile] airgiodslv had posted bigbang stories today that look interesting - I'm never, ever going to catch up on my reading if this continues!!

That picture is completely hilarious!! Oh Frank, you're so silly :-)

I imagine people reading my dragon story and backing away slowly, I really need to read the rest too.

I was about to say it'll take you all of two minutes to read my gen fic, but you beat me to it :)

I have both of those stories tabbed ready to read. Now to find time to do so.

The picture cracked me up so much. I keep looking at Ray and giggling to myself.

I know which story you wrote! (I happened upon a post were you talked about it with [livejournal.com profile] castalie :-) And yeah, I'm afraid that I'm one of those who backed away slowly.

I wonder if Frank would be good at fighting zombies with that chainsaw? He's so short, he can easily cut off their legs with it ;-)

I suspect the majority of people would have done so. I think it needs a special kind of person to enjoy it, all of whom beta read it for me *g*

I'm sure he could take out some zombie legs. He certainly looks fierce enough to do so!
