I finally finished feed backing the Dragon stories this morning, and there's some fantastic stories in there. Who knew you could use dolphins in so many ways?

A few days ago I finally worked out how to add spell check to thunderbird, in that time I've had to teach it some new words, some of which are ahahahaha, eeeeeeee, JC, JWalk, LJ, Mikey, Mikey's, Mom, Nsync, OMG, Rikes, SPN, Timberlake, XXX, badfic, bandom, btw, comm, etc, fandom, fanfic, fic, ficlets, flist, gmail, het, plushie, sexin', squee, trickc, turps, wank.. I think that list sums things up nicely. If you talk to me you're playing in the shallow end of the pool.

Still reading Bandom Big Bang, still being blown away. Then earlierarsenicjade posted A Finer Command of Language which is Panic bus accident fic! Which, I have glee! I love stuff like that. Plus, it's Arsenic so the quality is guaranteed. Though I can't read until tonight, which, woe!

Life isn't treating my sister right at the moment. That makes me sad.

She really does. You know I was saying she had a new girlfriend she really loved? Well, it seems the new girlfriend already had a girlfriend living in Scotland. She told Kay that her heart was torn between the two of them, and they've been trying to sort something out. But it all ended last night. I'm not even sure how because James had to bring Kay home from clubbing and he said she was sobbing all the way home, and she just doesn't do that.

It doesn't help that Kay's ex is stalking her, texting and phoning and following her when she's out.

So Kay's said that's it. She's not opening herself up to be hurt anymore, and all I want to do is fix things but I know I can't.

I had a feeling it might be something to do with her love-life again. Some people just seem to have all the bad luck when it comes to romance :( Of course, that kind of treatment is less bad luck and more complete cruelty.

She'll get there eventually. She's a good person and eventually she'll find someone who genuinely values what they have in her. And in the meantime? She has a pretty wonderful big sister looking out for her :)

It really should. I think what's making it worse for her is Vickie genuinely seemed to love both of them. But Kay said she wasn't going to be second best, and I have to agree with that.

Your list of additions make me giggle :-) I never use spellcheck, well afterwards if there's something really important I've written but never while I'm writing 'cause they just irritate me to no end. I know I misspell some words consistently but I rather take that than have to endure having a spellchecker bossing me about ;-)

It felt weird not having a spell check. I have one built into firefox too. Though that one does annoy me a little as it checks the US way and not how I spell a lot of words. It's telling me off right now, actually. Saying firefox isn't a word.

At least there was MCR stories posted later on. Not that I've read them yet.

I'm sorry to hear your sister is going through a rough patch. Being a big sister myself, I can totally relate to your sadness. :( When life hits hard, all you want to do is *find* that magic wand dammit, and friggin' FIX things for teh Younger. *hugs you* She's so lucky to have you.

Yeah, I really do wish I had that magic wand to fix things. She's 12 years younger than me too, so I very much think of her as a kid still, even if she's not at all.

I haven't read Spencer the vampire slayer yet. I'll have to move it near the top of my list now!
