You know when you suddenly get hit by the desire to read/write/emerge yourself in a certain fandom or person?

Right now, for a very good reason, my head is all MikeyMikeyMikeyMikeyMikeyMikeyMikeyMikeyMikey

Which would be fine if the two stories I'm busy with weren't MCR at all. I can't even read to scratch that itch because once I do I'll get nothing done.

In other news, my nanna just called. She's got her friend staying and we're taking them out for the day tomorrow. I wasn't sure if I would be able to go but after nearly three days of resting my foot it only hurts with direct pressure on certain points. Which I can deal with, and really, it's not like two 90 year olds are that fast or go that far. Remind me of that if I come back crippled tomorrow night.

That mind map thing the other day showed I have many people friended who I haven't actually talked to or have posted in years. I'm going to change that today. I don't mind if people lurk, heck, I'm a lurker by nature, but I think it's time I tightened that flock.

ETA: to clarify the above, I'm talking empty journals here. I used to friend back automatically which led to a lot of those kind.

I'm sorry you're consumed by Mikey at the present moment. (I can't believe I wrote that!) That's always tough, and I think why I have multiple stories going on at the same time. I can bait and switch my writing to match my mercurial mood.

That's also why I'm trying to force myself to write as quickly as possible on the Spencer/Spencer story. I want to get as much out as possible while I am still consumed by it.

I'm glad your foot is feeling better. Hopefully the two 90-year-olds don't show you up tomorrow and your foot does fine!

I think your method of lots of stories on the go is the way to go. If I didn't need these two done for next week I'd so be starting something Mikey related. But as I do, I'm sucking it up.

Spencer/Spencer is coming along a little slowly this morning. I got it up to 8,900 words and then watched some footage to inspire myself. Which inspired me to take a nap. Er, oops?

I know! So close! I just need to get some plot details worked out before I can move on to the next part, but I think the nap totally worked (hah, brain!) in giving me ideas. I think the basic plot/action sequence will top out around 1,200 words give or take, and then I need to add some details and thinking/emotion bits which will beef it up. And then there's the epilogue where all the sexing happens. I'm looking forward to that part, you have no idea. The story might not reach 20,000 words, but it might be close.

Post away! I have a phone call in ~20 minutes, so I might not respond right away, but the call only lasts 10 minutes and I'll get back to your stuff right afterwards.

The weird thing is, I've been writing a Spencer/Spencer fic that's really honestly just like a conglomeration of scenes at this moment and may never be finished and is really more about Reid and Ryan, but still, whoa, I mean, what was the likelihood?

I remember you had some Criminal Minds/Bandom crossover ideas, but I didn't know they were Spencer/Spencer (or I forgot, mind like a sieve, I tell you...). I just remember the Ryan-Reid connection (cousins, wasn't it?) and you posted a delicious snippet that was great. I'd love it if you wrote more. *feeds bunnies* I think Reid needs more Spencer in his life (And Ryan and Jon and Brendon...)

My story is ALL turps33's fault. She started it, and then before I knew it, I had a case!fic idea which has just grown and multiplied. It's actually more of a gen story with some flirting, and Panic doesn't even show up for more than 6,000 words. It's a trip and such a different writing experience for me. All the Spencer/Spencer bits won't come until the epilogue, unfortunately.
