turpsWrote a huge post last night, posted it then changed it to private because I was in a totally pissed of mood and none of you needed to read that. Basically, what happened was Kayleigh had bought my mam some earrings for her birthday, mam went out came home, threw them at Kay and said that she hated them and to take them back. I spent the night texting Kay and talking to her as she cried in her bedroom.
I messed with my LJ because I wasn't in the mindset to concentrate on anything. I like the new version, but don't know if I like it as much as my pretty pictures. I'll have to think about it today.
Just want to say hello to the people that just friended my LJ. I'm not always this whiny -- well, maybe 80% of the time ;)

castalie's LJ and for two people whose fandom tastes were identical when we met they're certainly growing apart now. Mouse has discovered OZ, and I've discovered popslash, can they be any more different? *g* But we're both having a great time and that's all that matters. My goal in life is to teach Mouse the names of all the boybanders, and see her twirl through her LJ throwing confetti. Somehow I think it'll be a long wait eh sis *g*
Is there something special going on in the US this week btw? LJ seems to be dead and I don't know why.

But we're both having a great time and that's all that matters.

Date: 2003-09-04 06:56 am (UTC)That sounds like Mouse and I. We met on an A Team list ( don't laugh *g* ) and quickly bonded over TS, Stargate, Highlander etc but mostly TS. We still share fandoms but we both have all these off shoots now and we swap links etc. I keep trying to get her to the dancing boy side but she wants to read about men in prison having sex. Can you imagine that? ;)
But like I said, we're both having fun, and fandom should be fun.

Date: 2003-09-09 06:29 am (UTC)I agree. Some people just stick to their own fandoms and I can't see the fun in that. I love talking to fans about their shows. And yeah, fandom is very intertwined. I was looking through the friendslist of one of my popslash friends the other day and saw you in there too :)
