We ended up going to sheep land yesterday, which does have a real name but to us, it's always sheep land. A beautiful long drive through the countryside. Buying free range eggs from one farm, bags of new potatoes from another. Eating dinner in the park with the sun shining against my back, a most delicious iced coffee and buying mini chocolate hedgehogs for when we got back. So much win.

Of the not so win. Carrying dinner for everyone and realising that vinegar had leaked through the boxes and made this perfect huge round wet mark on my chest. Then later, my iced coffee leaking so I also had dark splodges down the top of my t-shirt too. Still, at least we got caught in a rainstorm so the marks weren't as visible when I was wet. I swear, I'm such a scruff sometimes.

While we were out I was discussing with James that mam turns 60 next month. We briefly discussed arranging some kind of party but that way lies disaster, so after a call to my brother we decided a family dinner is the way to go.

Fannish wise. I'm thrilled with the comments I got for To Hide the Faults I Feel. I wasn't sure how it would go across with it being gen and also so short. Plus, the whole Bob the empath thing added an extra unknown element. But yeah, lovely comments.

I also officially made my interest known for [livejournal.com profile] harlequin_bands One insane Mikey/Pete coming up. Well, after the other stuff I need to finish first. Like the JuC story of insanity I've been working on this afternoon. Because I'm sure JC would like me to celebrate his birthday by writing him having sex with Justin.

Tomorrow we're going out for the day again. Who knows, I may even stay clean.
