Last night I ended up reading through a Mikey/Ray community. One of the highlights of which was hitting a story where Mikey suddenly said to Ray. I want you to penetrate me. Which really, how sexy is that?

My appointment with the nurse was cancelled today. She phoned and said there'd been a mix up and had an appointment for the 3rd of October too, so could I go to that one? As that's the first day of Connotations that was very much a no. So I got an appointment for the week later. Instead we went to help dad clear out the garage. He's settled in his bungalow but can't drive any more, so we've been helping out taking stuff to the dump.

It's like he's suddenly got so much worse lately. He needs a stick to walk and he finds eating difficult because he dribbles. I have to admit, when I was unloading his tool kit from the car to put in our garage I got such a pang, because I have so many memories of him using it when I was a kid, and I know he'll never touch those tools again.

Yesterday we ended up sitting at the hospital for over three hours because James' surgeon had an emergency surgery that ran really late. And really, what can you do in those situations but wait? Some people reacted badly by shouting at the nurse who told us and someone even stormed out. Which, I get you're frustrated, waiting sucks, but it's not the nurses fault. So we waited, only for James to be in five minutes, be told he has an infection and to come back next week.

After that it was off to pick up the kidlet's uniform. Everything but his jumper anyway which is only sold by the school, which is of course closed. My 12 year old son now has size 10 feet and is 5 foot 8 tall, sometimes I boggle at how fast he's growing.

Pansy is settling in so well. It's lovely to have a kitten in the house because all our other cats were adults when we got them. James posted a nice picture of her here if you'd like to see.

Some things become such vivid memories in life, and my dad's tool box is one of those things. He was a carpenter before he joined the fire brigade, so his tools are very much a part of my memories when he was fit and well.

So, I totally understand your pang about your grandad.

It was so unexpected. I have my doubts if penetrate me could be hot even in the best written sex scene, but them sitting on the couch and Mikey suddenly asking Ray to do that made it more laughable than anything.

He's two inches taller than me. It's so not right!

Well, it used to be 7, but from this term the school day has moved so it's a 8:30 start. Which means we'll be up at half 6.

Which isn't that bad, but all summer I've been lying in to 9. We'll be all dead on our feet on Tuesday *G*

It's pretty serious. I can't remember if you know or not but he had his wrist straightened and then got a blood clot behind the wound. That went but one of the stitches got infected, and that's spread, and still hasn't gone. Still, he's getting better, so that's good.
