turpsThe JuC Swap stories went live today. There's a load of new popslash up there, by fantastic writers so Go Read and Feed.
I've got a story up there but I won't be discussing it until my recipient gets a chance to read. Just know, getting assigned someone you like, respect, and is also active on your beta filter makes for interesting times. For the last few months I've been plotting and writing two stories. The real one on a ninja filter, the other on my usual filter. So sorry for the deception, Inky. Don't hate me!
Another reason I'm not discussing my story yet is because I'm going to read myself. Just glut myself on fic. Starting with the one for me!
Today has been a nicely productive day. I finished uploading the last swap stories, tidied house, made a tasty Sunday dinner. E mailed, had the pleasure of having a sneak peak of a lovely Panic story and just generally puttered around. The only annoying thing is that yesterday my computer monitor just stopped working. Thankfully I had another spare in the garage, which actually has a bigger screen which is of the win, but somehow when I swapped monitors I've done something to the speakers which meant that while music played great actual spoken words could hardly be heard. After fiddling with levels I can hear dialogue again, but only if I have the speakers cranked up. Which is typical because I have things I want to watch.
