castalie. Your envelope just arrived! Mouse sent me Umbrella Academy, and I'm so looking forward to reading. It was just what I needed to cheer me up today. Thank you! *mwah*I started yesterday by getting irritable in email, and ended it that way too. At least I was consistent. But ♥ for the people who put up with me.
It was my niece's birthday yesterday. She was 6 so we bought her the most adorable High School Musical cheer leading outfit. Which was a huge hit. We went through there for her tea party, then came home to make sure Corey had everything ready for school. ETA: picture here
He started back today, and man, that alarm clock was a shock to the system. His school has moved the start time to 8:30 which means getting up even earlier. Then when he got ready and put on his new school trousers we realised they'd been miss labeled and were far too big. So he's in his old ones until we can get to the shop for an exchange.
It's also mam's birthday today. She's 60 and said she wanted no fuss, so we went through old pictures and printed out a selection and presented them in a nice frame. A gift she seems to like. Her friends insisted on having a mini party at the club, which mam didn't want but they did anyway. They phoned asking if we'd go down, but really, no way in hell.
The speakers on my computer are totally bust now. Even in music any words sound like they're being sang underwater. It's so sad making because I have things I need to watch.
The kidlet is due in any moment and no doubt will be starving to death. I'll sort him out then my plans are writing some more Bob in Spaaaace! Then the Big Brother eviction show tonight. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Mikey to be evicted but I can't see it happening.

I wish the guy wasn't called Mikey because I'm like 'omg but why does she hate Mikeyway so much all of a sudden? *wails'? It's like a scary AU!
So I'm hoping he'll get evicted too, so that you don't need to mention his name again *nods firmly*

I've read it and liked a lot! I'm not a comic fan either really, but it's very Gerard influenced and I love that.
