turpsIs there anyone around who can beta a ficlet for me? It's really short, only just over 1000 words, and is Patrick/Pete. Which is why I want a beta, because I haven't really wrote them before. Plus, it's a birthday ficlet, so I don't want to post dreck.
I'd prefer someone who does more than cheerlead and it needs posting today, because I'm Terri Mc Suck who always does things last minute.
Other than that, I'm easy to beta for. Promise.

Things are okay. I have figured out that as long as I avoid reading fanfic, writing fanfic, or pondering the state of the fanfic universe, I can cope.
I had no trouble coming into work today (always a warning sign for me), so avoidance, for once, is working in my favor.
In honor of your Patrick/Pete, I am listening to FOB today. So good!

Pete and Ashlee are adorable. I'm happy he found someone to love and that makes him happy. I must admit I didn't like her dress for the VMAs too voluminous, but she looked happy to be there, so that goes a long way. There was a skit on FNMTV where Pete was getting instructions from Poppa Simpson about how to live his life, until suddenly Poppa Simpson stopped making his decisions for him. When Pete confronted him, all Poppa Simpson would say was go home to your pregnant wife, and it turns out that Poppa Simpson was getting electronic instructions from Ashlee. It was pretty funny. It might be up on Youtube.
