turpsA very dodgy looking guy just knocked at the door asking if he could take the old tumbler away. So I said yes. It saved paying for the council to get it anyway. Still, it just shows how visible our back garden is. Being the end house next to a path that serves the whole estate makes for many people walking past and looking in.
It was a nicely productive day yesterday. The usual relative visiting, then Corey's cabin bed was dismantled ( sniff ) and his room sorted. It now has curtains that actually match the walls and his stuff semi arranged. He's going to do the shelves himself and throw out or donate a lot of clothes and toys, which should hopefully free up space.
In fact, the whole house got a tidy, except when I was cleaning the bathroom floor I managed to flood the kitchen ceiling. Someone is coming out later to see if the light fixture can be saved, because it popped with one heck of a bang last night.
James was at a birthday party on Sat night and was getting teased about the fact that I didn't really exist because I don't go to meet ups with him. So he's decided we're going to have a party at our house for his birthday. A proper grown up party with food and guests and gah. So, the Saturday before the 1st of December, party at my house. If you're in the vicinity feel free to call in.
I saw this meme going around, so why not?

Step 4: Bold the songs when someone guesses correctly.

Ack! We did that when we were renting in Oxford, except that we washed the kitchen floor, and it caused the ceiling to collapse in the bathroom of the ground-floor flat below us. Luckily the guy who rented that was very understanding :-)
