Sometimes I think there's a lot to be said for the French system of allowing the registrars to refuse to saddle kids with stupid names.

I firmly believe famous people should not be allowed to name their kids without consulting a board of sane people.

Though non-famous people aren't often doing much better. I regularly read through the babies section in the local newspaper, and then laugh at the names with my sister. We're so mean.

Bronx Mowgli...Okay, here is what I don't understand. Pete's name is Pete his brother has the name Andrew and his sister is Hillary. Ashlee's sister is named Jessica. Those are all freaking normal names.

Where in the world did they whip Bronx Mowgli from!?

I like it. I don't understand it. Because if it's a boy it should obviously be Peter Lewis Kingston Wentz IV, but I'm a family name person.

I'm pretty sure Brendon chose the middle name. Mowgli. Jeez.

Man, yeah. Some names are just weird. There seems to be a lack of names in the middle of bog standard ones where you have 7 girls called the same in one class, and the totally out there. Which admittedly, Bronx is.

Hee. Brendon would pick awesome names. I've seen it suggested that it's a play on being raised by wolves. Which again, it's them. Who knows?

I've been trying to think of the nicknames that go along with this; so far, I've decided that initals are out, as he'd be either BM [which in St. Mungo-speak is short for Bowel Movement] or BMWS which brings rich kid taunts in its wake.

Then I thought about his parents calling him B, which became Bee and got me thinking about the Winnie-the-Pooh baby shower... and my brain started writing ridiculous doemestic kid!fic about bumblebees and the overuse of adorable bee-related puns.

So yeah, I think that name might work out. :D
