I'm having an annoying afternoon. I've been coding and updating the MX archive, it was going well until I hit one particular story. I hate it. Hate hate hate it so much! I want to grab the story and shake it snarling WTF! What makes it worse is the writer is usually one of my favourites, I love her stuff, but this time...

Also, the codes bugging on me for some reason so I'm having to check each line individually. I'm trying to check without reading but sentences keep catching my eye and I can't help reading which sets me off again.

I know I've been all about the sparkly love lately but Brennan is my guy, and when he's portrayed like he is here, even if it's a situation out of his control, I hate it. I've been coding the damn story for hours now as I have to keep leaving it.

To distract myself I've been looking at pretty Chris pictures -- big mistake. Lets just say don't let me near Chris pics when there's pasta cooking. Because there's a good chance I'll forget and end up with a burnt pan and a huge amount of stodge that used to be pasta and that could now be used to paste wallpaper. Guess we're having chips for tea then *g*

Better get back to coding *glares at story*

Here the thing, does your new addy, the fangirl one actually work? Did you or did you not receive the mail I sent your way twice? Well, it wasn't a real mail, just the stories for Challenge 6, but still. The whole thing is going on my nerves a little-- no need to say I'm talking about the situation, not *you*, of course *g* I asked for a confirmation that the mail did go through and it never came back to me, so that's why I'm wondering. I'm not freaking out, I'm just curious about whether to send other mails to you, or wait for confirmation that everything is working fine.

Oooooooooookay, never mind the last comment, I just received your mail, so obviously the new addy works just fine *g* Now, I need to know if *my* mails went through, and next, everything will be back to normal. Pfew, sometimes CL can be really exhausting! lol

I'm trying to mail Linda and if I use my address book or type the addy in manually it gets bounced, says that my addy is on a black list. But if I reply to a mail she sends me it goes through!

That's insane.

Now if I could only get in touch with Jenny, it seems BT hates AOL just now...sigh.

Tell me, how comes Josh gets through and my friends can't?

I should have done, it would have given me less stress, but I've always had a policy that I'll archive anything at my site as long as it's Mutant X slash.

I turn no one away despite on many occasions having to code things I hate. But just because I don't doesn't mean that others won't so I just suck it up and whine about it here *g*

It was frustrating, especially as the writer is normally so good. But it's up now and I'll never have to see the thing again.

Now, I think there should be a new SG part out. Must go and see...
