I think me classifying it as pre-slash is because I know what's going to come later more than what is actually in the story which is perhaps not an entirely good thing. But I don't want to re-classify it as gen either because that would mean having to take away the Bob/Gerard tag and the Frank/Mikey/Pete tag and that feels wrong. I might do it when you've written something more in that universe that are more slashy because then I could use a specific universe tag to alert potential readers that there is more in this universe even if it isn't out-and-out slash.

ETA: I knew there was something I'd forgotten! If they're going to start functioning as a crew in a proper way and be effective at kicking slaver butt I totally think they'll need Brian. Bob can't go on carrying them all, he'll need someone else who's good at being responsible and planning things.

That hockey AU is fabulous! Brian could be their trainer, his life would be so hard :-)
