I'm duplicating my journal over at Insane Journal at the moment, and had just gone and checked the progress when an entry from 2003 caught my eye. In it I was gleeful that merryish's Chris challenge had gone live and that hammerhead22 was posting wonderful Chris pictures. But it was this I loved the most, posted in small text, even.

Which, yeah, that remained a secret for all of a minute.

It's so weird reading all those old posts. The 100 Ways challenge, the old boyband drabble community, the day the cancelled Mutant X. The fact that even back then I was a challenge addict. Seeing names of people that are still around now. Mouse, Josh, Fi, Jo and so many more, people who've stuck around for over 6 years, which is just, wow. When grandad died and I first got that stupid infection that lasted for years and got much worse before it got better.

There's so much and I'm really glad I'm taking the time to make this dupe.

I should really back up my journal. Maybe I'll back up the stories at least...someday.

I find that when I read old entries, it is amazing how much things have changed and how much they have remained the same.

It was so funny, I was scanning the entries and saw this admission tucked away with little text and felt like patting my little baby!popslasher self on the head, and then telling her in a short amount of time she'd be admitting her kinks all over *g*

It's been surprisingly easy to back up and duplicate my journal. Of course I'll forget to dupe future entries I'm sure, but at least I'll have the vast majority. And yes! You must keep your fic safe!

Yeah, that's so true. I'm a different person than I was back then, but I still talk about the same stuff and am surrounded by a lot of the same people.

It pretty much is the X Men. In fact, the people who made Mutant X nearly got sued by the makers of X Men.

Basically it's a show based around a team of four mutants and the man who created the new mutant gene. He did it to help heal illnesses but instead created new mutants. So he devoted himself to mutant research and created a team who go around helping people. It's a cool show, full of plot holes but I love it.

Hee, just recently I copied the first Advent calendar entries that I'd posted in my personal journal back then over to mfac (just to have everything unlocked in one place) and it was also very cool to see comments from people how are still very much around now :D .

I think I may have worked out a way to have website access again, which will mean BANDOM PICSPAMS!

I love, love, love photographs. I'm really a very visual person (I collect calendars, just for the pictures!) so posting pic spams is one of my favorite activities.

Sparkly popslash does just feel like yesterday, doesn't it?
