You know how I said I wasn't going to stay up and wait for James? I ended up going to bed only 20 minutes before he came home.

There was this story. It was 42 chapters long. It had anorexia, cutting, misunderstandings, angst, attacks, crying, schmoopy love, more angst, more crying, being outed, even more crying. It was awesome!

Not so awesome was having to get up mere hours later. There is not enough coffee in the world. Still, it was worth it.

And now I get to go Christmas shopping :)

Not cutting! That's the worst in my book. I *hate* that. (Oh, no! How will my story ever stand up? Maybe I should chapter it up and post it to FFN and beg for reviews and everything!)

The story was weird because on one hand, 42 chapters of Mikey/Frank, and it was actually written quite nicely. But on the other, it was written nicely with a dollop of badfic cliches over the top and it was so obviously rushed. Like the anorexia thing, over the story Mikey stopped eating twice, but started again when he was asked to, and it's just not that easy. As for the crying. Ouch.

Still, there was some lovely Way interaction, which made me happy.

I did have fun, I like the shops you can pull up outside of and just go get your stuff.

Yes, the best shops are those you can just go in and go out. I like shopping in my little town for just that reason.

Heh, I don't know what you are thinking expecting realism from a story with crying, anorexia, AND cutting. Just count yourself lucky if it didn't have a Magically Healing Cock. But, good Way interaction, yay! That almost tempts me. (Almost, but no.)

I have not yet worked on the Sea AU yet today, woe is me. I can't seem to settle on it, what with my holiday almost being over. I am doing laundry and I took a shower and I need to wash the dishes. And with all that on my mind, I can't wrap my head in the Sea AU. Maybe it will come to me later. *hopes*

Well, there's still time to work on the Sea AU, you may be more settled when all your jobs are done and you have time spread out in front of you. Then you'll get that faint scent of the sea on the breeze, feel the salt on your skin and will know it's Mikey/Frankie time!
