Happiness day 4

Today's happy is due to spending the day at the Metro Center where we bought a lot of gifts we needed. As well as pretty pink fairy wrapping paper and other fun stuff. Plus, I got to look in Lush and smell all the yummy products. There was also talks to the bookseller about vampire stories and making her happy because I'd picked a book due to her hand-written recommendation sign.

Then I got to come home and wrap gifts, something I love, and also, due to good drugs and good shoes my foot didn't hurt while we were tramping round, something that's very much of the win.

On the non-happy side there was a charity gift wrapping station set up and I went with mam, she put the money in the bucket but I don't think the woman who was wrapping my stuff saw because she gave me a horrible look when we left, something that's made me feel guilty ever since. Also, James' back is bad so we didn't stay as long as we usually do, then he got into a fight with a drunk old man when we were at the fruiters. On balance though, today has been great.

I'm going to make fajitas for tea now and then I can settle down to catch up on flist and mail at last.

Both gift shopping and gift wrapping, sounds like you had a very productive Sunday. And yay! for your foot not hurting!! But poor James and his back *sends him many good thoughts*

It was a fantastic day, and I found a shop selling MCR merch so I dropped some broad hints.

James is falling to bits right now. I've told him to get to the docs next week once he's off work for his holidays because it's getting ridiculous.

Poor James!! It really sounds like he should get himself to a doctor asap. It would be horrible for him to have the holidays spoilt by being ill. Tell him he really MUST go!!

It was a good day. I so wish your foot would get better, because realising that I'd gone around that place without it acting up reminded me how horrible it is to be unable to do so.
