Now the non-flaily update.

I've one scene left and my SeSa story is done, of course that's the most vital one of the whole thing. Plus, despite just finishing the penultimate scene I know it needs more on the end. You know when you have a gap in your story, yet you send it to beta anyway, just disguised somehow? Like, and then it was the next day and your beta gets back to you going, ahem? Add more here! I have one of those situations, which I'm admitting here, so I'll fix it before I send. There's nothing like pushing that deadline. SeSa, it gets the blood flowing for sure.

I have stuff to send, it's ready and everything, but it's not pay day until Friday. Which means my cards etc probably won't arrive until after Christmas. At this point I'll take before New Year as a win. Thankfully Corey's gifts are done, which means even if I can't get anything else I don't care. I do need some non-pink wrapping paper though. As much fun as it is teasing him with the pink fairy paper I'll make sure to get some fitting for a near teenage boy.

I'm drowning in fic to read, but I can't read any of it until I get this done. But when I do I'm going to sit and read and not talk to anyone. Well, okay, that's a lie because I'd miss you all, but still. You get the picture. Fic, so much fic. Just sitting there, tempting me to read.

Last thing. James is seeing his surgeon this afternoon about his arm, so you know, if you have any good vibes to spare it would be lovely if you sent them in this direction.

SeSa always makes this time of year just a little bit more exciting, doesn't it?

Good vibes to James for sure.

It does. It's a vital part of Christmas to me, and that includes that mad rush to get it done. It wouldn't feel the same if it was done and submitted early.

Thank you <3

Sending good vibes!

And you're right, Corey's gifts are what matter most and I hope he has a lovely Christmas! Pink fairy paper? You're so mean! ahahaha!

Thank you *mwah*

I am mean, very much so. He gets annuals every year and that's what I got wrapped on Sunday, and the bag has been sitting in the corner of the living room ever since. He's dying to look inside *g*

I hope things went well for James this afternoon. I didn't read this until now so I couldn't send any good vibes I'm afraid.

What? You don't think Corey would like getting gifts wrapped in pink fairy paper? That's stereotyping, that's what it is :-)

They went okay. He has to go back on the 18th Feb to see if the tissue has settled down. So more waiting.

I know he doesn't want the pink fairy paper. I got that message after he glared at me for nearly a full day *g*

I've had my SeSa finished for, like, a week. It's completely freaking me out.

Fingers crossed for James, and the story.

I know. I saw! You're a freak of sesa nature *g*

Well James has to go back in Feb so it's more waiting. I've fixed the hole in my story, so that's good. I kept imagining your comment and had so much guilt I went and added more before you got the chance to use it.

Go you for wrapping up SeSa (which is what I took from your other comments).

And I hope the waiting and seeing for James works out.

Sadly no. I did finish the scene that needed more, but still have one to go. But that should be done today. I hope so, I have other things waiting for me!

Yeah, more waiting. But, it's not a bad result as such.

That sounds like a doable sesa schedule. :)

I'm so tempted to wrap my sister's presents in the nsync wrapping paper I just got from Turlough. We're so mean. :D

It is doable, one more scene to go today and I'm done \o/

You should! I wrapped one of James' gifts in pink fairy paper last night *g*

You can finish the story! I am sure and positive that you can.

All best wishes to James and his arm. I hope the surgeon can tell him something helpful.

Thank you for the confidence. I hope your story writing is going well, too.

Well, he told him to wait again. Which I'll take, tbh.

It went okay. Just more waiting for now, which is better than a lot of things that could have been said.
