Drabble for The Boyband 100

Hand skimming over his cheek, Chris traced the dark bruise. It hurt, throbbing fiercely. But that was nothing compared to the pain in his chest, the agony of betrayal.
“You hit me.”
He forced the words out, staring at Justin who sat on their bed, twisting his t-shirt between nervous fingers.
“I was drunk, I didn’t know it was you. I’d never…you have to believe me.”
Chris wanted to believe him, wanted to sink into Justin’s arms and forget it ever happened. But how could he, when the only thing he could remember was an upraised fist and angry eyes?
