The Microfic Meme
Try to write different categories of fic (angst, fluff, UST, etc) in10 30 words or less.
Angst
Brian hesitates at the entrance to the bus; next to the empty bottles, the cigarette butts lying on vomit-splattered ground. All he wants is to walk away.
He goes inside.
AU
It's boiling hot inside the costume and Frank feels sweat trickle down his forehead as he fights the urge to kick the little bastard who tugged Goofy's tail -- again.
Crack
Gerard can cope with Mikey dating the unicorn prince, but seriously, did he have to smile like that all the time? Like his every sexual fantasy had come true.
Crossover
"Let me through!" Gerard yells, pushing through the crime-scene tape
Nick grabs hold, steering him away. "Stay here, there's some things you don't want to see."
Death
It wasn't fair. To lose one son was heart-breaking. But two?

Mikey shrugged and stood, smoothing his hand over his head. "It's okay, no one will notice."
Fluff
Finally the coast is clear. Gerard pulls out the drawing -- bleeding hearts and flowers twined together -- and kisses the page before slipping it into the bunk.
Humor
It's one of the best moments of Bob's life, when he can sit back and watch as Gerard walks in on his baby brother having sex with Pete Wentz.
Hurt/comfort
Wrists on fire, Bob begins to relax when Frank rubs his fingers and Gerard goes for a hot towel and Ray painkillers and Mikey sits quietly, leaning against Bob's side.
Smut
There's a knock at the door and Ray wonders who'll it'll be tonight. If he's lucky it'll be all four.
UST
It's wrong, so wrong, but Gerard always wants what will hurt him the most. It's why Mikey's the one addiction he won't attempt to kick.
